Seriously...I'm loving his hustle and energy he brings on the defensive end but I yell at the TV every time he takes an ill advised 3 point shot. I know that he made 3 of 4 today, but my dream is if he never shot ever again.

I understand if he needs to take one with the clock running out, but he regularly jacks one up with plenty of time on the shot clock...Puzzling shot selection for a guy that's supposed to be a backup pg.

Hasn't been a huge issue up until now, and I probably wouldn't mind if he was taking them when he's wide open or in the flow of the game. But seriously his shots seem like he thinks he is Jimmer Fredette...Please stop shooting ugly 3's!

I'd apply this more to Pietrus than Dooling, to be honest. Don't get me wrong, Pietrus hits some huge shots for us at times, but I'm far more comfortable with a Dooling 3 than a Pietrus 3.

We could go down the line.  Would anyone feel more comfortable watching Marquis or Sasha launching up long balls?

Seriously. Pietrus' offense has been putrid. Clutch defense though.

He has hit some key shots in recent games, if the ball finds him I'll take it he's playing with a bunch of confidence right now.

On a night when Dooling's 3-4?  (And Ray's 6-16 BTW?)

Man,

This guy helped us winning a pivotal games 3 & 4 and you wish he never shoots a three again?

Give me a break, I am starting to love Dooling more and more and he got some confidence now, someone has to make some benchpoints.

Don't like this post after such a great win and effort from our team.

While we continue to search for a real backup point guard for rondo , has he ever had one?
Dooling is doing a great VET job.  He was pretty bad, not off, bad during regular season.  He lost minutes to bradley and was moved down the bench.  Tip your hat to a guy who kept positive, seams to be a big locker room presence and worked in practice.  He has gotten minutes (injuries of course) but from working his butt off on the defensive end.  Rondo got him nice looks last night and he hit the 3's.  Anyone hitting 3's it opens up the lane for rondo.

Didn't Dooling bury 3 big ones last night?

Delonte didn't do that much for us in his last tenure here, injuries made him not that effective

I would feel comfortable if Sasha shot some 3's.  He's an experienced vet who played well in the playoffs for the Cavs and he can hit that shot.

Exactly!  Dooling has been great.
