In the ESPN pregrame show, the panel chose their predictions on who would win game 4. When the show was closing the whole crew were teasing Wilbon that he chose Boston to win. Broussard then said:
"Please you actually think Celtics would win this game, that is wishful thinking. There is no chance they'll win". Then chuckled

This really shows how bias ESPN is. Most of the time I miss the pregrame and halftime because it just makes sickens my stomach by how much they kiss the Heat's behinds. Its so obvious he's a Celtics hater. He's never picked the Celtics in any series they played unless its obvious Celtics would win. You could see how steamed he was when the Celtics won this game

You also can see his blind worshipping of Lebron during the 2011 NBA Finals

He is. He's the one who started the whole baseless Rondo to LA for Pau rumor which went viral. He's a worthless reporter.

ESPN has been slobbering all over the Heat and Lebron james for awhile now...its quite obvious and obnoxious...

Broussard is by far my least favorite member of ESPN... I actually think Id rather watch Skip Bayless, its a close call.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
Broussard is not a celtics hater, he's an opportunist who owes his fame to agents and players who feed him rumors and 'insight'.

He's just trying to look like a good soldier.

One only has to look at the section the 'Heat Index' to see their incredible unprofessionalism at ESPN. Also having someone in the booth like Breen. Their is probably a dozen more things to show their bias toward the Heat.

Someone can say the exact same thing about ESPN Boston.

ESPN Boston. Supports Boston teams, sure.

The Heat index is a daily feature on the ESPN main site. Not really the same thing IMO.

But it is not in a tab right on the NBA site next to 'stats' and 'dime' sections. If they put the link next to the other cities that have an ESPN section I would not mind. NY, LA, Chicago, Dallas also has sections. Why not put Miami there? Instead they get their own special spot? Maybe I am looking too far into it but it bugs me.

Yeah Breen is pretty bad. I was just discussing him with a Knicks fan who is disgusted at the way he gushes over Lebron and the Heat. I can't imagine Mike calling a nationally televised game like that and especially not one involving a team that has a rivalry with the Celtics.

ESPN is just about even with TMZ to me now.
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

That video is pretty funny.  For "all he's saying" Broussard is saying a lot!

ESPN Boston is not just the celtics. It covers like ten teams. Heat index covers one team and really only focuses on two to three players.

ESPN is a business.  They have the Heat Index because people go to it and it makes ESPN money.  Period.
