I had the opportunity to watch the game tonight with my old man.

If he was a celticsblog member he would've been banned for profanity and trolling.

If we talked on the forums like we do when we're shouting at the TV, I imagine that a lot of us would get banned.  I know I was gone in the fourth quarter.
Yeah, I definitely used up a month's-worth of cursing tonight ... swears well-spent, though. ;)

horrendously gut wrenching game but we... lucked out? i'm not sure that gives them credit but it's about right.

HUGE ups to pietrus for those offensive rebounds in the last 2 minutes. if we didnt have them, big chance we would have lost this game.

I had a horrible migraine during the game and I thought my head was actually going to explode. Much too much excitement for me. These guys make watching basketball a roller coaster ride. I keep saying I can't take it anymore yet when it's the offseason I pine for them for months.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

Sorry to hear ... migraines have been the bane of my entire life, (since infancy), and I have the utmost empathy for others who suffer (TP).

I started to get one toward the end of the third quarter, but luckily I caught it in time.

Otherwise, it's a quiet, dark room with an ice-pack and a bucket, waiting for someone who can take me to the ER.

Fun it ain't, though this win would've almost been worth it. ;)

I am surprised my wife is still married to me. That was completely brutal to watch.
The beatings will continue until morale improves

Thanks and TP for the sympathy. I don't know if you're a coffee/tea drinker but I've recently started using caffeine to help with the migraines and it really helps to take that edge off if I catch it early.

That was a tough one to watch late.  I'm thrilled the Celtics were able to turn this into a respectable series.  Regardless of what happens once Bosh returns, at the very least we got further than we did last year.  A lot of people had us losing in 4 or 5... good to see the old dogs had some fight in him.  So much pride.
