In nearly all of the games we have won in the playoffs, Garnett has had in the range of 24-28 points. The exceptions were the game that Bass had 27 and I think a game where Pierce had 36.
So key number one is easy, KG has to be on. So far in the playoffs, he has been on about every other game. In lieu of KG, if Bass can have his one big game, that could do it. I don't see Pierce having a big numbers game as Miami is focusing on him and he is getting into foul trouble and expending energy covering LeBron.
Of course there are others that could have a big game like Bass did. I think it could be Ray Allen or even Dooling or Pietrus or someone like that that comes in and runs off say 3 or 4 3 pointers.
But in addition to someone having a big game, it is equally important that none of the key guys (PP, KG, RR) have a bad game. They have all at least have a good game. It is tough, Miami is a good team. There is very little room for error on our part.
