It's heartbreaking to me that we missed a chance to stuff another choke job down Lebron's throat last night.  Despite everything the Celts were in a position to have a game winning position after Lebron missed a bunny late in regulation.  Of course the Celts missed the rebound and gave Lebron a chance to brick up another clutch shot at the buzzer.

I'm still befuddled by last night.  Hard one to sleep on.  At least we still know Lebron will fold with the game on the line.  Hopefully we make him pay for it next time.

He is the best player in the world....until the game is on the line.

Aren't we kind of used to it by now.  Still benefits from walks galore and a zillions bad calls.

Eh, I would feel better about his unclutchness had we won the last game.  They still won. :-[

Honestly, I'm not sold on this at all.  We're a better team, but we have no individual even approaching his level on a basketball court.  Did anyone watch Durant miss a game winner in game 2 of the WCF?  Well, he missed it.  Did anyone mention it?  No.  If it was Lebron, would this have been the topic of conversation?  Absolutely.  Hell, it even is when they win (source: this thread).

I hate that I have to defend that assclown as there's no one I despise more (including Kobe), but he is a stellar basketball player.  One of the best I've ever seen touch a basketball.  I'm hoping to God that he never gets a ring, but I'd almost bet my life that he'll earn one at some point in his prime.

No one talks negatively about Durant because he is a good fella. That is until he plays the Celtics.

He certainly is productive.   But with 24 FTAs in a game who would not be and unlimited walks.  I don't think anyone thinks he sucks.   He has a track record of coming up short in pressure situations and he is pretty much subsidized by the league with tons of calls.   Even Jordan had more than 1.8 fouls per game called on him in the playoffs.   This guy routinely goes over the back, pushes off and goal tends shots.

Unfortunately, Lebron did come up pretty big down the stretch, grabbing some big rebounds.  4 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists in 5 minutes of OT is pretty productive.

but he missed 2 foul shots.  Surely that is more important.

I was specifically talking about potential game winning shots in the last 24 seconds of a tied game.

Right.  I was saying (in the OP), that it stinks that we didn't make him pay for it.  Instead of there being a lot of talk about Lebron being a choker and how amazing the Celts were at overcoming all of the bad calls...it's just a gutwrenching loss.
