They were just showing the highlights of the game last night, and at the biggest part of the game they show the Rondo/wade play, but they only show it from the first angle and they say " Rondo can't get it to go and the Heat take advantage on the other end" They wouldn't even show a replay of Rondo getting smacked in the head.

Then they showed PP leaving the court with 2 seconds still left because they game was pretty much over, and that flaming LA Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. Neil Everett goes " I bet if the C's tied it up there PP would have come back to the bench in a wheel chair" and then starts laughing .

I can't stand ESPN , I seriously thought I couldn't hate a channel more than MTV, but ESPN takes the cake with their ass kissing of the NBA .

Watch First Take and/or listen to Ryen Rusillo on the SVP Show on the radio.

Stephen A., Skip and Ryen may have wacky, crazy analogies on pretty much everything, but they tell it how it is. I can't wait to see SAS and Skip debate this. Especially Stephean A., he'll call you dumb, stupid, blasphemous, egregious, inept and all of these things if he thinks you are and/or you deserve it.

If those guys acted like their biased towards Miami, then ESPN really is a whacko.

I'm telling you guys, the best thing that will happen to you is getting yourself off ESPN.

I stopped logging on ESPN.com when they reported news about players outside of their professional work lives.  "Breaking news!! Chris Paul rides a bike with LeBron James."  "Update! NYJ QB Sanchez says his feelings are not hurt by reports."

Just so...unimportant.  Anytime I find a link going to espn.com, I just skip out on those articles.  I realize there are some good stuff I'm missing but if I can miss 10 awful articles for every 1 good article, I can live with that.  I'm a regular on Yahoo Sports and I can't say they're too great but it's better than ESPN at least.

ESPN has gotten way out of hand with their 24/7/365 sports coverage.  Just too much for me.  I enjoy the CSN pre and post game reports when I have the time but when the Celtics play on national TV, I turn the tv on 5-6 minutes after the scheduled tip-off and usually catch it just when they start playing.  And the TV goes off as soon as the horn blows for the final time.

Makes all the difference in the world for me.

I stopped caring, watching or doing anything that involves ESPN about 3 years ago when they decided to become the Public Relations arm of the NFL.

ESPN is part of Disney/ABC.  They have their own agenda and its not to cover or be fair to the Boston Celtics.

TP. Yup get some distance from espn. They broadcast NBA games and have a biased interest in keeping ratings up. ESPN doesn not want casual fans to turn away by exposing the negative impact of the refs.

The Heat got a couple home cooking calls. This is how the NBA has operated for the past 20 years or so. The underdog road team has to find a way to overcome them.

Interesting. I was watching this morning, and they showed a couple replays of the Rondo foul, and discussed it. Tim Legler said the refs blew it. (He also said Pierce's 6th foul and the Wade leg kick on KG were pretty much 50/50 calls.)

Not defending ESPN here. Just saying the narrative can change with time.

ESPN is trash.  They are working for Stern or with him.  They are not journalists at all but entertainment.
