Your thoughts on some of the 50/50 and obvious missed calls.

Q2: Loose ball, Lebron bowls over Rondo, foul on Rondo = 2 FT for Heat decreasing Celtics lead before the half giving momentum to Heat (4 point swing) as opposed to 2 FT for Rondo reduces a 9 point lead to 7 instead of it possibly being 11. 

Q3 – Wade’s block of Ray’s layup is a foul — he pushes and holds Ray’s torso as he goes up for the block.

Q3 – James runs into Dooling who is STANDING STILL, but a block is called. A charge?

Q4 – 5th foul on Pierce: wrong call. Refs screw up again.

Q4 – Pierce 6th foul: Pierce went straight up in the air, and was not in the restricted area. The charge is called a blocking foul. Refs screw up again.

OT – Rondo is hit hard in the eye on a layup, and because there’s no call, the Heat get an easy 2 points on the other end. 4 point swing. (The difference in the game? 4 points.)

OT - Clear extension of Wade's leg kicking KG and follow thru kick (2 kicks) no offensive foul, instead +1.

Stiemsma 4 fouls in 3 minutes, this killed the big man rotation.

The OT fouls overshadowed it (I even forgot about it) but the fouls called on Stiemsma were just horrible. They knew exactly what they were doing.

I think its important that all Celtics fans (and non-Celtics fans who love the NBA) make this a huge issue over the next few days on every form of social media available. Game 1 was ridiculous with the techs, but at least you could say we probably would have lost, anyway. Game 2? No...the bad calls literally cost us the game. And given how much energy we expended to try to win it, might lead to a Game 3 loss due to fatigue.

My prediction for Game 3:

This refs give it to us.  35- 24 FT's advantage. Calms everyone down.

No way the Heat get shown up on Sunday nite TV.  Heat win Game 4.  Game 5 @ home cHeat win.

These calls were the ones that made me raise an eyebrow.  The funny part is that up until this point, I thought the refs had managed the game fairly well.  But these three calls completely changed the game.

KG hit Wade's arm first, that's a fair call. Pierce's 6th and the no-call on Rondo being hit were bullEdited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. though.

I think the NBA needs to adopt a rule that is similar to the NFL - offsetting penalties, redo play. Save the double techs for extra curricular/ post play activities.

So for Example on the Wade kick.  Two fouls on the play, KG hits Wade's arm but Wade clearly kicked KG - and it was not as a result of KG's foul. No basket, replay possession 14 secs on the shot clock. Or swallow the Whistle.

On the loose ball foul that couldve been called either way. Foul on both players, resulting in a jump ball.  There is no way you can honestly call the foul on Rondo more than on Lebron. So call it on both. Or swallow the whistle.
