I disagree with LarBrd33 in that the officiating issue is worthy of discussion. Whether you think there was intended bias or not, the stats show that Miami got significantly fewer calls. That doesn't mean the refs are working for Miami, but it does create the basis for legitimate discussion.
However, I will agree with a point inferred in one of LarBrd33's posts: Lebron and Wade get calls, in part, because they are better players. Guys who are bigger, stronger, more coordinated, jump higher, are more agile, quicker, faster get more calls simply because they actually do get fouled more often. If you have ever played against a more skilled opponent you would have to acknowledge that you foul them more than they foul you. Lebron, Dwayne, Michael, Kobe, Larry, Magic are better than the guys they play against on most nights. This may not explain the differential entirely, but it is part of the equation.
