Rondo has played twice the game James has. And he just got cheated out of 2 FTs.
James is having a bad game, but still manages 34 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists of his own.  The King puts up those stat lines in his sleep. That's why we lost.  Heck of an effort by Rondo though. Shame that LeBron on a bad night is enough to beat Rondo on his best night.

Absolutely heartbreaking. I think this is going 5 games max. Refs would not let celts win. Rondo fouled, no call. Wade kicks KG on drive, foul on KG.

Wade kicked him in the knee to create space. That was an offensive foul.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

Sadly, I think we are looking at a sweep. Spurs will beat Miami in 5.

Probably a sweep.  Bron and Wade really didn't play that well and we really can't ask for Boston to shoot better than they did tonight.  Pierce was solid.  KG was solid.  Ray had his best game of the entire playoffs.  Rondo had the best game of his life.  I think this was our 1 game to steal.  Don't really see how we can get "more" than what we got tonight.  Hat's off to Boston, but the King is moving on.  Not sure if LeBron will be able to beat the Spurs, though... that should be a fun series.

Yep. I think this is the best the Celts can play.

Rondo played great, the rest were ok. KG was a step slow for most of the game. Ray played well considering his health. I would have liked to see him get a few more shots.

This game should be enough proof that the Big 3 window is closed, and its time to blow it up and build around RONDO

YES the refs missed 2 crucial calls, but I expected this given that they were making the right calls a majority of the game.
Miami is bound for the finals, just as the Hornets were bound to win the pick this year

Grats to Rondo, and goodbye to my generations Big 3. Maybe we can use Pierce's contract to pick up some talent that will RUN with Rondo
Can't stop, Rondo!

Man, Rondo was as good as it possibly gets tonight. Huge effort in a loss.

Building AROUND Rondo will not be enough.  We'd need a legit superstar.  These kind of games happen once in a while, but not consistently.  It was a great run, but I don't foresee us being a contender anytime soon.  Time to begin the long winter.

I never thought Rondo would be able to top his 29-18-13 game against the Cavs in 2010, but this may have done it. Just incredible.
