So, I found this interesting enough to post. Hope no one minds. Bleacher Report is running a "Ideal Trade Targets For Every NBA Team" series, where they list a proposed target for each team and then float an idea for a trade that might get them. This is what they did for the Celtics:

Boston: 2012 No. 23 pick, SG Avery Bradley, [Sign-and-trade] SG Ray Allen, and 2012 [I think they mean 2013] first-round pick
New Orleans: SG Eric Gordon and SF Trevor Ariza.
Granted, I haven't run this through the trade machine to see if the numbers work, but I'm interested in hearing everyone's thoughts on this if the numbers did work. Let me be clear: I've loved Ray Allen since his UConn days, and as much as I was thrilled that we traded for KG, trading for Jesus Shuttlesworth thrilled me even more. I would be more than happy if Ray retired a Celtic. Still, I remember how dynamic Ariza was when given his chance on the Lakers and Rockets, and I'd love to see his skill set utilized on the Celtics. And, of course, Gordon may not be the healthiest guy out there, but he's still a heck of a catch.
So, is essentially 2 first rounders and Bradley (since Allen would be resigned for the sole purpose of trading him in this scenario) too much for Gordon and Ariza?
