especially since Ray allen is hurting, its important that Pietrus plays up to his potential.

i'm not sure what has happened to him these playoffs. This is a guy who has playoff experience and has burned us.

but his 3 point shooting has been off. most of his points the last couple of games have come off layups and Dunks...but he is better than that, and you have to think it will turn around for him.

we need a couple 3's from Peaches tomorrow night.

i do believe mickael still has the hops, but i doubt if that was in doc's playbook..he spreads the floor with his 3pt capabilities, which unfortunately is off..as i see in doc's playbook, being the fourth or fifth option on the floor, he just lays out on the 23.9ft line as an option after iso's only as a receiver of kick-outs when time is running out..he has not much time to work it out...

He needs to raise his level about 2 notches.  For the most part he's been non-existent in the playoffs, which is a bit of a surprise.  The big problem with him is if he's not hitting the 3, he's pretty much a bystander in the offense and their half court game breaks down.  He needs to play better from here on out in order for this team to have any chance of beating Miami.

PIetrus needs to start and play big minutes in a game to get his rhythm.  We need to find out what that scenario looks like.....

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
We just need him to knock down a couple of shots. WHen he gets in rhythm, there'll be more coming in.

But what I really need him to do is at least contain D-Wade to a jump shooting Wade. I'd rather live and die by Dywane shooting fade aways than him driving the lane and making plays. I hope he keeps him on his front.

The knee injury is a big problem for him, doubt we see more minutes and production than we already have

agreed
Pietrus has looked good this season at times but then needs a break, too bad we are in the ecf with pierce, ray and mp hobbled
i do think starting him in place of ray at the least makes us tougher (no dig on ray)

Did u see him dunk the ball? If he can do that he certainly has enough hops to hit his 3 pointers.

He looks hesitant to take them though...hopefully they start falling soin

believe it or not we actually need his defense more than his offense, and his length/athleticism for rebounding

he has to play a lot though

We need MP and Bass to stand in and take Charges (Glen Davis style) against Lebron James and Dwayne Wade.
The beatings will continue until morale improves
