They start resting for jumpshots, I guess because they're tired.
Rondo was doing a magnificent job in the first half driving inside, but that strategy, for whatever reason, was abandoned.

Players throughout the league do stupid clear path fouls.
it's not just that.  vet players seem to play smarter before they come to the C's.  it's probably just my perception but man it seems clear as day.

Huh? You have to have the ball for a clear path. That means you are on offense.

No no, I'm saying you're rewarding the offensive team with 2 free throws and the ball...when essentially the other team was just playing defense.

Like if a player has an open layup in front of me, this rule is basically saying, don't play defense, allow the player to score, and don't foul...or else they'll get free throws and the ball back.
