Park KG and Bass in the low post and hammer it down low.

and use steamer also. dribble drive and dish it to twin towers down low. pound miami unmercifully. play zone defense so it alleviates our rebounding problems and stops all the layups by wade and lebron.
LET'S GO CELTICS!

I don't know where you get all this confidence from... Miami beat us easily without even playing great. we've been the worst rebounding team for the whole season, what makes you think we can change that? what makes you think that Ray can defend Wade better than he did in Game 1? what makes you think Paul will magically get well, the guy has played ONE GOOD GAME since he was hurt. JUST ONE. what makes you think the Heat will miss like a dozen wide open 3's in another game for the rest of the series?

what we witnessed last night was a beatdown and it could easily get uglier than it did... I'm happy for this team, I'm proud of how they played throughout these playoffs, given the injuries they were facing and the aging factor. I'm really really proud and thankful for what they've given to us these last 5 years.
But let's stop being delusional, we can't stop the MVP and a top 5 player while being beat up and hit by injuries like that. it cannot happen.

TP for the optimism, but right now I can't understand where it comes from. It's very nice of you to try to keep everybody's spirits up, but imo we should be prepared for what's gonna happen or the downfall might be too quick and hard to stomach.
"Life has so many hurdles. Some of them I've hopped over, some of them I've tripped over. The key is to get back up and finish the race."- Paul Pierce

And he did finish...

I just think that Rondo/KG are going to be coming out for blood in game 2.

and when rondo plays out of his mind the C's are dangerous.

Don't have any confidence in taking this series at this point, but yeah, I absolutely hope they win.

Look, they have the upper hand right now, but it's not over.  If you look at the box score, we played like Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline..  11/21 from the FT line?  Sub-40%?  I'm not saying that we're GOING to win this, but it is far from over.  If we win game 2, we're in the driver's seat.  If we lose game 2, we still haven't lost at home.  Nothing in the last game REALLY made me feel nervous.  If we made our free throws and STILL shot like Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline., we were down by 5 with 3 mins to go.  That's a game.

Larry Bird's not walking through that door.
Kevin Garnett is walking through that door. Paul Pierce is walking through that door. Rajon Rondo is walking through that door, and Ray Allen is walking through that door.

Larry Bird just got a technical for being mentioned in this thread. Heat are up 1-0 in Game 2 already.

yes, however tonight is really, for all intents and purposes a MUST WIN game. We cannot count on winning two straight at home. WE MUST WIN TONIGHT! If we lose tonight there is a chance we will go down 3-0(after game 3) or 3-1(after game 4) in the series once we get back home which would not be practical for us to come back and win. beating the heat 3 or possibly 4 straight? i do not see it which is why we have to win tonight. we cannot go home with all that pressure of having to win two straight to stay in this series. We just can't. Tonight needs to be treated like game 7 for the celtics.

FACT
LET'S GO CELTICS!
