Sprewell is a really good pickup. Love his defense. Lots of fun players on that Miami team.

Thanks Who.

Tomorrow will be fun as the bench building begins. Was hoping JO would fall. Would have been the perfect back up 4/5 on my team.

After looking over my roster, I am pretty sure I am going with the 06/07 Bosh.  Seems like the type of player as I want as my sixth man.

Right now, this is where I'm leaning towards years.

Kevin Johnson '89-90 (on the fence about '88-89)
Jeff Hornacek '91-92
Bruce Bowen '02-03
Pau Gasol '08-09 or '09-10
David Robinson '94-95

The competition at both of the starting guard spots is brutal.

Exactly. Some pretty great teams overall. Would love to see some panelist feedback/rankings etc.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
Spreewell was a guy, along with Jones, who I really thought about hard. I thought ultimately Finley was a better choice.

So what was each person's biggest plan thwarted by a fellow GM?

For me, it was Rondo2287, that devious scoundrel. Coming into Round 4, I had a plan. I had a very tenuous chance at grabbing a PG and a pick in exchange for Nash. My plan was to take a more 'traditional' center with my first pick (one of sabonis or Bynum), and with the pick acquired via trade (assuming it went down), I'd grab Brandon Roy.

Rondo killed that pipe dream. Not that I'm upset with the team I have now, I really like it, I think I rounded it out very well, and built a solid 5 around Pippen and Nash. But, there wads that dream.

Biggest thwarting was Rondo taking Zo.

FWIW, I thought long and hard about taking Spree over Reggie.

Everything has gone smoothly for me (availability wise).

Pleasantly surprised by how much talent was available in the late 2nd and early 3rd (planning on Manu and Roy, ended up with McGrady and Kemp). And exactly who I thought would be available in the late 4th early 5th was there (planning on Porter and E.Jones, took Porter and Harden).

So no plans thwarted (great word) yet.

For their 5th pick in the 2012 CB Historical Draft, the Downeast Diablos, (formerly LA Clippers), are happy to select 6' 9", 245-pound Power Forward from Virginia Union University ...

I havent had anybody taken from me but I got nervous with tony Parker which was why I moved up.   In each spot I have tried to have 3 guys that I wanted to take, so that has given me options, though with my second pick I wanted either ray Allen, Reggie miller or Ben Wallace so I went with my third choice there
