For their 4th pick in the 2012 CB Historical Draft, the Downeast Diablos, (formerly LA Clippers), are happy to select 6' 11", 265-pound Shooting Guard from Cypress Creek High School ...

 ... Amar'e Stoudemire.

SG Amare!  he is so much cooler than PF Amare ;)
I was rushing with my template and didn't change that part. Sheesh.

I was just messing around, but if you pick some of his earlier years I bet he is athletic enough to play a little 2 guard.
CB Draft LA Lakers: Lamarcus Aldridge, Carmelo Anthony,Jrue Holiday, Wes Matthews  6.11, 7.16, 8.14, 8.15, 9.16, 11.5, 11.16

Well, Bahku, you could've been a lot cooler and waited until I picked.

Now you and I are enemies.

And there is nothing wrong with the pick times, the draft just starts at noon, so if we get ahead we get way ahead. With you missing so much time previous I thought there was a good chance you got busy for a while.
I just feel bad that you folks had to wait again ... I would've been here earlier if I'd known. Live and learn ... I'll check in more from now on. My apolgies again.

I'm leaning toward 2007-2008 ... and I think he'll stay at the four for now. ;)

Stoudemire/Mutombo is a great frontcourt pairing.

Amare and Price were both guys I was looking at, good picks

Stoudemire/Mutombo is a great frontcourt pairing.

A year ago, I would've agreed. After seeing him with Chandler now, I wonder.

I think that is more of an issue with Melo (ball hog:  See AI)

I agree ... I think he's a great combo with Deke, both ball-wise and temperament/personality. Melo's lack of team-mate involvement really brought Stoudemire down, IMO. (Notice I glossed over the AI jab, though he shared the ball much more than many people think in his earlier league years - 7.9 APG in '04-'05, and 7.5 APG in '96-'97). ;)

I looked at the draft board and saw Vlade "The Impaler" Divac.

I LOL'd.

Stojakovic is a great pick BTW. I was positive he drops to me at 5.3. Guess I'm wrong again.
