I'd say I'm a bit shocked that Kobe fell that far but, then again, he is a Laker.

This is actually why I considered resigning as a panelist: I'd have some real concerns about Kobe's ability to gel with other players, will be interested to see the argument for him.

It was between him and Karl for me, but felt Karl was at a more important position and was a bit more well rounded (though Kobe definitely has some well rounded seasons).  I was definitely surprised Dirk went before him.

With the 11th pick in the draft the Thunder select the 2008-09 version of Dwyane Wade.

Not that I want to pump up Kobe or another GM's team, but wow many more reasons do you need dude?

I'm pretty sure KC already has BJ Mullens on his radar.

He could be a steal at this point. Legit 7 footer.

This is a completely different format.

In a standard draft pool his value would be incredibly high. But when the draft pool is filled with all stars, I don't feel the same way. He's going to need to get the best out of all his teammates and I'm not sure he can do that.

Value of a player can change based off his teammates. For example, in this format I think Lebron actually becomes an even more valuable player. As his questionably 'passive' nature in the clutch can better be hidden by a team of more willing and capable teammates.

Pretty happy that Kobe is off the board, I would've definitely selected him, and hated it.
