if the loss was by 15points or 5, theres no way we were going to win this game the way the officiating was called...anytime we would go on a run some ticky-tack foul or a technical would be called to stop our momentum. That was some of the most biased officiating I have ever seen.

we HAD to settle for jumpers because anytime pierce or rondo went to the hoop they were mugged and couldnt buy a call..Lebron legit slammed rondo in the head and they called it a block, pierce was getting hacked all over.

and on the other end, anytime someone breathed on Lebron or wade it was a foul, so that changes the entire way you play defense.

4, I repeat 4 technical fouls called on the celtics..that is rediculous. most teams dont even get 4 techs in a 2-3 weeks of basketball

I think we take game 2 if it is officiated somewhat fairly

everytime we got close, the momentum was killed with a tech.

thats what i'm saying, the way the game was called we were losing either way. you cant win 5 on 8 when the officiating is soo far one sided

bass got decked so many times and so did pierce when they both went inside.

but i guess the refs cared more about doc saying "come on eddy" than legitimate fouls in game against the heat.

lets hope the refs let the players decide the game next time.

What makes you all think anything will change going forward? We all know the C's have to play grind it out basketball to win. That makes the zebras that more impactful. A front-running team like Miami has no worries. They can play their style because LeBron sure isn't going to foul out.

The Heat were a swat team down low.  Oddly enough I think no player scares the crap out of Rondo more than LeBron James.  It seems half of Rondo's penetrations end with LeBron swooping in out of nowhere and swatting the ball away.  It has to be demoralizing for Rondo.  I notice he starts getting afraid to penetrate... decides to kick it out instead... or he blows layups expecting Bron swoop in out of nowhere.  The Heat had 11 blocks last night... it felt like more.

As a whole the team shot 39%.  KG can't do it alone.  Our best offensive player (Pierce) was 5-18... likely due to the sprained MCL.  It is what it is.  You can't beat the LeBron without scoring some buckets.  Even back in 08 we snuck by LeBron in game 7 by a mere 5 points thanks to an otherworldly 41 point performance by Paul Pierce.  If Pierce aint Pierce... the Celts aint winning.

Celts just sucked big time. Allen 1/7 Pierce 5/18 Bass 4/11 Rondo 8/20. Foul shots 11/21

Miami shot 500. We can't beat this team in a 7 game series. Too beat up and missing players.  The ref complaints are getting old, like this team. This team misses the spark plug Bradley when he was healthy. LOL it took us 7 to shoo Philly away. Man, it takes lots of patience being a Sox, Celtic and Bruins fan.

As I mentioned in another thread, we won't win one game if they call the game like they did last night.

We need NBA playoff referees.  The ones that allow physical play, don't call touch fouls, and don't react to Wade, James, or Pierce screaming every time they take a layup.

If we can't beat them and I think we can then I hope we take something out of them for the finals.   I do not want a "beat LA" moment.   I 'd rather see the spurs win than MIA!
