I get it, we have limited confidence in the bench.  But if Doc thinks he can run up and down the court for 4-7 straight games for 48 minutes, he's gonna bury this team.  Sasha, marquis, etwuan all need to see significant more PT. 1 or two minutes here and there.  With bradley gone we need to stay as fresh as possible.  Tired legs have doomed this team too many times before, but moreso because of Doc's lack of acknowledgement.  hate to keep harping on the obvious, but see San Antonio.

Agree, I want to See Sasha on Lebron for  3-5 mins here and there , Put Pietrus/Dooling on Wade .  Play a lot of zone when Ray and PP are playing so they don't have to spend as much energy on defense . Plus playing zone will lead to outside shots by Lebron and Wade which also leads to long rebounds and fast break opportunities where Rondo is at his best.

Sometimes i wonder this. Ray is hurt but he runs him out there for 35 minutes and against the quickest youngest players lol.

I do agree, he needs to spot minutes for these guys. I really dont think we will win if Sasha and or Marquis doesnt step up at some point.

But please, this Moore stuff has to stop.

Agree 100%.

The bench must be used more.  Don't know who, but get the bench bodies in motion.  We need to keep the starters fresher if we want to have a chance in the intangibles (hustle plays) department.

Ray is capable of running all over the place and playing decent defense, but at big minutes how many loose balls can Ray and Pierce get to?  Keep 'em fresh and then when they're in the game drive 'em hard!

I actually think if we approach the Heat and try to beat them with just with smart, experienced, play, we'll fall flat.  We need energy and mistakes be danged.....

Yes, please use Stiemsma.

But please, do not use Hollins. Guy is a double negative when he is on the floor.

Yea, I forgot about Dooling/Pietrus. Morre is not a necessity, but a solid rotation of bench help is crucial.  And as stated above, forcing Miami outside would be the logical thing.  I just have little faith doc will try some type of variation.  He's a decent in game decision maker but is horrible longterm planning and during the end of the game.  He has to do his part and be a better coach.  he gets alot of cred for the effort and heart put forth by the team.  Now really is his proving ground.

It would be nice if we had a bench to go to but where do we go? Petey has played good D but hasnt shown up much on the offense. Hollins is completely useless to me. steamah has nice stretches but his team defense is weak. I like Dooling but same with petey, he tries hard and makes good plays on defense but his offense has been missing. Daniels and Sasha will be thrown in there a few minutes to foul James im guessing but at this point I dont trust them or count on them to do anything productive on offense.... Its tough to go to the bench when they are underperforming, yes it is needed, but its weak and they are struggling.

They just need to take up some time, keep the lead, and give the starters rest

The only reason Sasha is on this roster is to help defend Lebron.  He will play this series.  Daniels could be thrown in there too.

I don't see Etwaun getting any minutes over Dooling.

Pietrus will play a lot.

I know Stiemer is worse than Hollins at defending the pick and roll, but he is better than Hollins at everything else.

I think Stiemsma would provide decent/good defense around the rim on those drives by Wade/Bron.  If the perimeter defenders and make a decent effort at staying in front of Wade/Bron, Steimsma should be fairly effective defending the penetration and altering some shots (without fouling---but then again, it's the anointed one and his evil sidekick who apparently can't so anything on offense without getting a foul called for them)

We already know what Doc is going to do; he's going to ride the starters 35-45 minutes.  Even with Ray not being 100% he's still putting him out there for 35+.  I do think Sasha needs to get more minutes; but that has been the case all year long.

I believe that Pietrus, Stiemer, and Dooling will come up big this series.

Stiemer had a total of 14 pts, a number of rebs, and 3 blocks in two games vs MIA in April. Dooling went off for 20 or so in that vs MIA loss.

We'll be fine.

Clearly, Doc should put Stiemsma and Hollins on the court at the same time.
