Ray Allen will be lucky to get 3 million a year after these playoffs.

Ray Allen is a great player !!

are you'all so blind that you cannot understand how badly he is hurt right now.

have you ever had bone spurs ?? try sticking a couple of steak knives in your foot and ankle and then go play basketball.

TP. He can't elevate and that leads to bad shots. Quit putting the blame on him when he is injured and trying his best out there. This is a team loss and nobody should be shouldering the blame. You win as a team and lose as a team.

KG ..can NOT win this game/series by himself.

Again, other than KG ...seems we have no one we can count on to hit a shot in an important game.

Dismal showing  and embarrassing .

This could be a 4 and out deal for the C's

Yes we know he is injured. That's more reason to stop playing him.

I don't really feel that bad after this game.

1) On offense we only really showed up in the 2nd quarter.  We played really poorly on offense in the other 3/4 of the game.  I think we are going to get more from PP and RA before the series is over.

2) our defense wasn't that bad.  for most of the game we limited wade, and forced their role players to hit shots.  They hit some of them, but I think overall we can build on this game from the D side.  We can make adjustments that can make it hard for the heat to score.  In the  2nd half, DW and LJ made some very difficult shots.  That is good d, regardless if the shot goes in.

3) our energy level was no-where near where it needs to be.  I think that is something that can be corrected.  They were flat from the start.  You could tell they weren't completely into the game.

Call me a homer but I still think we have a shot.  game 2 is really important.  If we can steal game 2, pressure goes back on Miami and we go back home.  The first game isn't the end of the series.  We can make adjustments that give us a chance.

I saw the rebound total...they have to do better than that in the rebounding.
Also next game they need to come out in the 1st quarter better than that.

Disagree even with how bad they played I saw potential in the 2nd quarter. We got away from that and never went back to what was working for us. As long we look at what went wrong this game and correct it we should be in good position to win game 2.

We miss Bradley big time having to rely on Rondo to guard Dwayne forget about it. Then you have Pierce who has just looked awful injured I know but he's actually been hurting us.

Add to that their bench and role players actually will hit their threes where as us we stink. It is no way we win this series.

Round of applause for my man KG.  I don't know what we would've done without this man in this playoffs.  He looked mad and angry on the bench and he has every right to be.  He wouldn't even look at Pierce.  This team needs to wake up.  Everybody else might as well sit at home and only bring KG to games because only him showed up.

Thank you, KG.

Until the words "the Boston Celtics have been eliminated in the Eastern Conference Finals" I will continue to believe that our team, our bench, and our coach is better than theirs and they require aid from the officials to win a team game. If I wanted to watch three stars win a game, I'd watch 3v3 basketball. The Boston Celtics are the better basketball TEAM, they just don't have stars that can carry them past the Miami cHeat. In my mind, give us the health we had in 08 and we'd be up now. I don't care what anyone says, we're the better team.
Take me where the Boston Celtics fans roam free without judgment from my enemies.

so would you pay 3m for an injured player?

Agreed it was sad seeing him have to take on Wade/James etc and try and cool them down because they were abusing their men repeatedly

Well, the Celtics wouldn't pay $3M for Tony Allen, and he just won DPOY, so...

anyway, ankle spurs are recoverable, but you need surgery first.

11 points in the opening quarter is inexcusable, period. With just a better first quarter, this game doesn't look nearly as ugly, and instead of having to do so much just to catch-up to the heat, the strong second quarter would have given us a really nice lead heading into the half time, instead of merely just a tie.

The first quarter lost this game for the Celtics. The first quarter is what beat us.

Pierce didn't show up tonight. Unacceptable in this series from the captain.
