it really is kinda debatable whether thats a shot clock violation or not to be honest.

if youre playing by the NFL rules, theres no disputable evidence there to prove his other fingers are on the ball
they have HD cameras and they can zoom in to the finger tips with multiple angles, thats why they reviewed at halftime, to get a close look.

you can clearly see his index finger and thumb are off the ball.  They are assuming hes rolling the ball off his other fingers and they are still on the ball.

its an assumption, you cant zoom in on whats not in the picture and behind the ball

I'm not complaining, just saying
Greg

  • We may as well put Tyrion in at center.
On the NBA.com page 1st half highlights:

LeBron finds Wade |  LeBron's steal and slam |  Chalmers-to-LeBron alley-oop

...unbelievable..  ::)
Remember, a dunk is worth more than a jumpshot or layup!
I like Marcus Smart

  • You say when......
At this point, glad to be back in the contest. Point now is, hwoever, not to say, "whew, we got back in it" but to say, "we can take this."  More KG & Steamer. Use our height advantages
didn't i say kg and steamer earlier...? see, doc looks for my posts..now to get sasha in..!

Hey man since Doc's reading your posts can you tell him to stop putting Pierce on LeBron? Sasha, Pietrus and even Rondo would do better.
hahaha..I will work on it...it works for me....." Hey TOMMY...." yup..besides it is not a good idea to put your older scorer on the tough D assignment also.....sasha on him or peitrus.....call 1-800-popovich....!!!

I see something like this every time we play the Heat, and I never understand the problem. Nobody wants to watch Rondo kick the ball out to KG for a 20 footer. It's not a highlight.

In a tight game like this, I expect AT LEAST a highlight on a Celtics play. But here's the whole point: LeBum sells the product, so It's LeBum here and everywhere, even in the refs decisions. That's how it goes.
The Celtic in me.

If the Celtics can win tonight...I don't know what I'll do.  They look so much better than last years team against the Heat even with their offensive droughts and injuries.

On a scale 1-10 we've had a 6.5 half, and were in a tied game.
good this is that Rondo decided to play

Great second quarter by Rondo.

First, not so much.
Coined the CelticsBlog term, "Euromistake."

Lebron is a choke artist, keeping pushing and we got this.  DWade does not look that scary tonight

The Celtics really clamped down on James in the second quarter, but doing so really leaves them vulnerable to giving up offensive rebounds. That's not promising, considering the Celtics are already bad at securing boards.

  • Our heart will prevail.
If we want to play tick for tack, after james alleyoop ... he smashed the ball out of bounds.

Lets keep on eye on if he does it again for his tech.
