The Heat waxed the Knicks, and after a slow 1-2 start against the Pacers, they outplayed them soundly for 3 games in a row.

We had to scratch and claw to get past ATL and PHI.

I know which team I'm rooting for, but realsiticaly we are the heavy underdog in this series.

Well that is all true but New York sucks at this point and was depleted by injuries and Atl is and was far superior to them. As far as Philly and Indiana, Philly is a brutal match up for us and crushed us twice during the season...blew us out of the building. Very athletic which has been a problem for our core 4 hall of famers (do it Rajon!)since 2008. Philly is every bit as good as Indy and it took us 7 games and  Mia 6 to beat Indy...big deal. We could have won every game.

If Avery was healthy, Id pick us in 5 or 6. Without him unfortunately we don't get to see a young player annoy the heck out of D Wade to distraction but we will be in it. These prognosticators must get better ratings saying idiotic things. here we are talking about their foolishness so maybe they are right

You do realize that Miami is even more Athletic than Philly right?
besides Lebron nd Wade who? lol Chalmers an athletic PG? Haslem super athletic? undersized Joel Anthony an athletic freak? lol Philly was WAY more athletic nd had a much betta bench

ESPN can kiss my butt. No one cares or values their opinion. Let the Miami Heat and Boston Celtics games do the talking and predictions, not over-paid analysts that never picked up a basketball.

They may be right, but we are NOT going down without a fight. If the Cheats wants to go to the NBA finals they are going to have to take it from us and it will not be easy. I respect Steven A Smith sometimes but saying the Heat will steamroll the Celtics kinda ticked me off

Let's go CELTICS!

Let's go CELTICS!

I like Smith too, but he's obsessed with Lebron. It's to the point where I can't watch or listen to him. He's kind of an hypocrite. Before this series started, Smith, talked about how a match up between BOS/MIA would be competitive and entertaining.

Now here we are and suddenly he's saying the Celts will get "steamrolled". That's extreme and disrespectful towards this current Big 3 era and what they've accomplished that past 5 season. He keeps using Bradley's injury as prime reason, but what about Miami's, Chris Bosh, he's not important?

There's clearly a double-standard, but it is what it is. But for some these idiot so-called experts exclude Bosh, as if he's a non-factor for the Heat's title hopes is just flat insane and insulting.

LOL

Miami's role players are head and shoulders above us.

We have way more injuries than Miami. They don't miss Bosh that much.

Yes, Wade and James are good enough to beat us.

Atl and 76ers are tougher defensive teams (both top 5).

No disrespect, but you've clearly not watch the Heat play this season. That comment u made doesn't deserve a response, but I couldn't help myself. That is so false!

If anything both Celtics and Heat benches are bad. But to suggest that Miami's is superior, c'mon.

Of course! Are u serious. The Hawks roster is stacked with talent and their bench is deep. The Hawks are one of the top 5 defensive teams in league as far as points allowed. Their starting line-up consists of 3 all-stars in Joe Johnson, Al Horford and J.Smith that's played 5 yrs together.

Philly's entire roster is loaded with athletic guys that can create their own shots. Holiday, Turner, Williams, Iguadola, Hawks, Meeks, Young and Allen, can create their own shots and played strong defense. And they're well coached by Doug Collins.

Philly is 1# in defense as far as points allowed and they're 2# in rebounding. Let's get our info straight, folks.   ;)

Battier is better than any 2/3 we have. Miller has actually shot the 3 ball well in the playoffs.

Who do we have off the bench that does ANYTHING...?

Miami Heat bench:
Norris Cole, Shane Battier, Mike Miller, Udonis Haslem, James Jones

Celtics bench:
Pietrus, Dooling, Stiemsma, Daniels, Pavlovic, Hollins, Moore

Celtics do have a bench that can contribute. Doc just needs to play them

LOL keep the Battier insults coming.

Dude will flat out shut Paul Pierce out, when he's guarding him. LeBron wont even have to waste energy.

I don't understand why fans are such homers. Miami is the favorites, flat out. We have absolutely nothing off the bench. At least they have potential. We having Dooling and Hollins? ****.
