Celtics are going to beat Miami in 7 games. Then we are losing to OKC 4-2.

Ok now being serious: I have doubts the Celtics will be able to overcome Miami. Even if we had HCA - the loss of Bradley, nagging injuries (would Ray be playing if this were the regular season? .... no), our starters playing somewhat inconsistently (besides KG [for the most part]), and Hollins continuing to get minutes at the 5: It's just going to be too much for this squad to handle. It sounds like hate, and I will root my heart out for the boys in green. But I am also a rational soul and an objective thinker. Don't get me wrong - a win in 7 games IS possible, albeit unlikely.

Anything that comes out of the west is going to beat whoever emerges as the top from the east. That said, it would be nice to see Miami go down before the finals so I could sleep another night knowing LBJ will be ring-less for at least another year at the hand of the Celtics.

What do you guys think? List reasons please

I don't see the series going 7 games. Either team could win, but I think whoever wins will do so in 5-6 games.

I'll be pleased for the Celtics to win 1 game, getting swept would really suck.  The loss of Bradley, Green and Wilcox and Allen hurt is too much for the Celtics to overcome.

Can't ever tell about lady luck though...   I thought the Bulls had this thing wrapped up ..and boom down goes ROSE.

Never know what may happen....somehow bosh comming back MIGHT be a good thing.   With him gone ..the ball is in Wade and Brons hands EVERY PLAY.   Somehow this seems to play right into the Heat 's game.  of NO TEAM BALL Miami HEAT

Heat should prevail in  5 games,  but their Waterloo will arrive as themselves are swept by the Spurs and Pop.

Heat win in 6.

If Bosh is out of the lineup, I think we can steal two games with KG being a blatant advantage in the mid post, but Lebron and Wade are just too good.

The thought of Ray having to cover Wade the entire series is frightening.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
The Celtics will win the series because Kg and Pierce won't let them lose.

Pierce is the man and all, but he had some pretty dismal performances in the previous series. Lets hope his MCL is better than it was for the next series - he's going to need it

We're bigger underdogs than we were last year, but I never say die on this team.  No Bradley really, really hurts, though.  Gun to my head I say Miami in 6.

If we lose, I hope we lose a close one and that the BIG 4 give it there all...No more injuries.

I know one thing , if we can't win at least ONE of the two first games in Miami the series is over.  No amount of blind faith or postive thinking is gonna help.

We went 5 games last year with the Heat...mostly all close games and we could have easily been 2-2 going into Game 5.

This was with Rondo playing with one arm, and a completely ineffective Big Baby.

This year's team, while more tired and injured, is better.

This team is not getting swept, bet your life on it.

This team will not go down without making those punks earn every  point.

I say we go 7 games.  And I hope to God the Celtics win.

I was SO excited to see Bradley lock down Wade. Disappointing.

That said, I think we can win this series. We need 4-5 terrific games from KG, 5-6 terrific games from Rondo, and 4-5 great games from Pierce. That is a tall order, but I also think that, at least subconsciously, the guys held a little back in that PHI series because they knew they would need it for this one.

Then we need at least one X-factor performance to help us steal one on the road.

What that might be, I don't know. Ray hitting 5 3's? Pietrus drawing a few charges on Lebron and getting into his head? Dooling hitting some big shots?

I'm behind this team 100%, I know that, and if this is the end of the Big 3/4 era, then hats off to these guys. They are leaving it all on the floor, and playing the game the right way. I would never want to be a fan of any other team.
