Great win green. I have no doubt you guys will take game 4 to even up the series. Those clowns from Miami are overrated.
You think?  Here's my prediction: Miami will not win a championship this year or any year in the near future.  They are a deeply flawed team.

Honestly I respect you a lot for coming on here and saying that. I'm still amazed myself to be honest. Like yourself, I would love nothing more than to beat the Heat. I'm glad Celtics and Lakers fans can finally agree on something...haha

The guy just hates LeBron more than he hates the Celtics. That's what laker fans do...hate.

If the Celtics should get through the Heat (Big if) we'll see how many laker fans come here and wish us luck in the finals.

I am a day late on this post due to real life obligations.

Congrats on another solid win.

While I expected you guys to win Game 4, I never envisioned the beat down you guys gave Miami in the 1st half. Ultimately, it turned out to be a close game, and you guys prevailed thankfully (still can't believe I'm rooting for green).

Game 5 is going to be rough. I hope you guys steal this one (still can't believe I'm rooting for green), but I think the odds are stacked against you. Even if you do lose, I feel confident you take Game 6 and stretches the series to the max.

Regardless how this series ends, your team performance this series has further proved/cemented my opinion that your team is old school, battle-tested, and doesn't give a sh*t what the media says. Old my ass.

Good luck Game 5 GREEN.

Tried to edit my post after realizing multiple typos/errors, but didn't see the option, but didn't see the option. My apologies for the errors and bad grammar.

Please provide proof where at any point I displayed hate towards LeBron James specificall.

I have a strong dislike for the entire team. /end

I appreciate your sentiments, but I can't say I would feel the wame way in your shoes.  If the Lakers and Miami were playing in the Finals I would almost certianly not watch or even really follow the series, but I would rather have the Heat win.  Miami will have their time in the sun and then they will fade away, like most teams do.  The Celtics and the Lakers will be two of the top teams in the NBA for as long as it exists

Fair enough. I'm sure most of my fellow Lakers fans would not root for Boston either. Keep in mind I am not here to win a popularity contest. Merely voicing my personal opinion.

I personally despise everything Miami stands for and would much rather root for a team I dislike (but respect), than see Miami prevail.

While you may not see it from my point of view (I'm sure most don't), I respect when things are done the proper way; which Boston does. I don't like to admit it, but it's the truth.

It seems like the formation of the Heat in 2010 really made Celtics and Lakers fans respect each other's teams a lot more.  I've got no love for the Lakers and would root against them in a Lakers-Heat finals, but I respect the franchise's ability to put together elite team after elite team.  Heck, they even managed to travel through time and retroactively steal a few from Minnesota.  Takes talent.

Personally, my disdain for LeBron and Wade has made me hate the Heat like no other team before (excluding the Lakers). In a potential Lakers-Heat finals, it would be a bit of a tough call, but I'd still root for the Heat.

The problem is that the Lakers have this dude named Kobe who has been paired up with that idiot Bynum, both who I also hate incredibly. Then add Artest's recent antics, and on a player for player basis, the Lakers have nothing there I could fool myself into rooting for.

I wonder though if the Lakers had a different set of players, say someone classy like Tim Duncan, if my recent hate for the Heat might just be enough for me to want them to lose to the Lakers regardless of the history.

That the Heat have me considering something like this has to say something.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
As much as I dislike your organization, I must give you guys credit for making the ECF. Well done.

The main reason I made an account, was to wish you guys the best against Miami (I can't believe I'm actually rooting for you guys). While I dislike the Celtics with a passion, I surely do respect your entire team and organization. I feel your organization represents basketball to its purest form. You guys do it right; old school, grit, and real team ball [/u]

I believe it's grit and balls man.
Thanks for the support though.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

If it were a Lakers/Heat final?  I don't know?  It might be sacrilege, but I think I'd have to still root against the Heat.

I suppose I could understand a Lakers fan rooting for the Celtics to win under the assumption we lose in the finals.

SOmehow I've learned to tolerate and appreciate Kobe .   But, I'm biased here.
Our big Scottish Deerhound male , looks for the world like Kobe in the face .  He has Kobe "Eyes"  :P .. we can't watch LA play and not laugh .

To hate on Kobe would be like hating on my own dog.

Bynum and Artist belong on the HEAT criminal team. ....and I wouldn't be surprized to see them both on that team on day.

Never.

The Heat are annoying now.

Mostly I'm glad that I don't have to worry about it coming to that this season.  I do take great satisfaction in the fact that we are still competing and the Lakers are sitting home watching.
