this guy has been huge! And he came through in game 7

i have so much confidence in him than I had last year with  big baby

Bass made multiple clutch shots tonight and got to the line at a crucial moment

And we've come full circle. TP. Brandon Bass is a man.

Shout out to Pietrus for early aggression and Dooling for not taking anything off the table.
"Suit up every day."

Not so much the points but the timing. When the Sixers were catching up, Bass hits a jumper or makes a dunk. Great! Just great!

Bass was fantastic. He definitely deserves a lot of praise. He's a legitimate offensive option for us, the likes of which we did not have in Big Baby.

he hit the shots finally that the sixers were giving him, but he had only 2 rebounds. That has to improve in the ECFs

If he starts at the 4, his match-up will be against Lebron...oh boy.

Exactly. We have to change up out lineup for the Heat. Also, no way Ray Allen in his condition keeps up with Wade. We HAVE to have Ray come off the bench in this series.

He will be covering Battier

Pierce on Bron

Allen on Wade

Garnett on Joel/Bosh

Rondo on Chalmers

If history proves yea it is.

But what can you do?

Help defense and possible Zone could be a good response to it.

Allen has been attrocious defending Wade thats for sure. Hopefully they give Wade some different looks on defenders, but in reality nobody can really guard him on our team right now.
Pietrus cant, Sasha cant, Ray Allen (had) some of the quickness to at least be a pesk, but not anymore.

The important thing is for Ray to score, if Ray can score the ball we will stay in the games, if he cant that matchup will be really bad.

Pietrus or Rondo can guard Wade.

There's a good idea.  Start off with Rajon on Wade and Ray on Chalmers.  The Heat might reciprocate that matchup.

Anyway, Brandon came up big tonight.  We desperately needed, and will continue to need, some help from the role players.

Keep thumping, Brandon!!
