I did say good Rondo can look bad because his teammates play terrible.
Bad Rondo appeared in about 5 possessions out of the 40 minutes he played tonight. I'm not blaming him for pacing himself or being completely exhausted.
But why single Rondo out, as every player in the history of the game has a few bad plays in 40 minutes or so?
Fair point. I have nothing but love for Rondo but I guess being on here has kind of changed my way of seeing things a little.
I'm not saying it's a bad thing though, having a counterbalancing point of view has helped put things in perspective quite a few times. Without the negativity, Celticsblog would just be a place where our beloved team is worshiped even more.
Rondo has to play out of his mind right now. He's shown the capability to take over and he needs to do it because of injuries and our inconsistent offense reliant on jump shooting. Last night showed why he's more important than ever.
