Thank you for making the last 5 winters/springs worth watching basketball again and thank you for showing a younger generation about the words Celtic Pride. Leave it all out there tonight...if Philly wins it still doesn't change the ride. If it wasn't for bad luck (2009) and bad officiating (2010) the Celtics would have won 3 titles in a row. This era has been a big success and a lot of posters who aren't happy about this team and who still regret the big three being formed (there are a few if you look at past posts) you will be pining for this era maybe as soon as next year. Either way it's been a hell of a run...

I don't think that tonight will be it, but I agree whole-heartedly with the sentiment.  It's been a great run, with the opportunity to see a lot of great basketball.

Agreed - I don't think we'll go down tonight but we're awfully thin these days, it could happen.  This is the only game we're guaranteed to see the Big 3/4 in ever again. 

If it is the last one, it's been a remarkable run. especially since it started with one of the lowest points in team history (losing the 07 lottery).  And if it's not the last one, we get to add a little, or a lot, to that resume.  One of the truly memorable squads in a long, proud franchise history.

   Yup.  If this is it, they have given us a great ride.  After waiting all those years to see another title team or even a title contender, we will always love this team and these guys.  

They brought pride back to the Boston Celtic's. For me it wasn't just that they won, it was how they won.  They won the way the Celtic's have always won with suffocating defense, unparalleled passing and team play. They did it the right way, as a TEAM.

  I do think they'll win tonight and live to fight another day though.

Tonight's game has some high stakes for a conference semi.  Really sad if this is the way the era ends; but a wonderfully unexpected ECF appearance if we win.
