the single biggest improvement the C;s have made in this game that's kept them ahead is the gang rebounding.  many fewer offensive boards for Philly tonight

rebounding effort has been FANTASTIC

It is no coincidence that it is easier to score without Hollins on the floor.

Too bad Doc is to slow to figure it out.

When Pierce decides to board, the C's are a much better rebounding team.

I wish we would put the onus on the refs and just take it to the rim and absorb the contact......I mean I'm pretty sure well get the whistle but we aren't even giving ourselves a chance at the line

Pierce I'm sure will do just this once he comes in

Hollins comes out the lead immediately balloons up to 7.

Personally I'm not in the "Sit Ryan Hollins" camp...but for right now, he can't be in there.  With Philly doubleteaming like they are, you HAVE to have offensive threats out there to counter...Hollins clearly doesn't qualify.

I've been pleasantly surprised with the majority of his play this postseason, but for the next 9 minutes, he shouldn't set one foot on that court.

So nice to see that 3 go in.  1-15 is better than 0-14!

Watchin this quarter brah? They have 3 already.
question is, are YOU watching?  All C's are swarming the defensive boards this game.  wasn't happening in this series until this game.

This is a very dangerous quarter. A young team who has to know mentally just being here is a success against an aging, hobbled team that doesn't want this to be the end of the core. On paper, the 76ers have everything going their way here.

This is going to be all about the stones on the Celtics. That's the difference maker.

Elton Brand has been frustrating and a thorn.

Philly is going to attack Bass's terrible pick and roll defense for the rest of the game.
