how many open Js does Bass have to miss before Doc sits his butt?

If Boston wins this--and I'm not convinced it will--it will be a miracle.

uhh...Bass is 4-7 (best % on the team) and is leading the team in scoring.

being critical is fine, but it should be based in fact

My bad. I tuned in a bit late, and it seems that all of his misses occurred while I was watching.

You can't believe this Roy. Ray is a statue out there on D and it's frustrating  >:(

I'm honestly not sure what you're talking about.  Ray has hustled on D all night and has played good defense.  He's guarding younger, more athletic, and bigger players, and he's doing it pretty well.

Which Philly perimeter player is lighting him up?  Holiday is 3-for-11.  Turner is 3-for-7, AI2 is 2-for-6, Lou Williams is 1-for-3.  If Ray's defense is horrible, nobody is really taking advantage of it.

Also, the Celtics are +12 with Ray in there tonight, so again, he's not getting burned.

Right. Not even close to true.

He looks more into the defense this game than last thats for sure.  But he still looks pretty close to finished, at least for this season.

I expect him to have surgery, sign with a new team, and be a solid contributer, but as far as this season goes, it's over for him.

Pierce is great. Pietrus is rebounding tonight. Ray stay on the bench.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

Their fastbreak transition has been awful tonight.  There's been at least 3 times this game where they have a 3 on 2, 3 on 1, etc. and come up empty.

They are really trying to smother Pierce, hopefully he can continue to hit his shots over his defender.
