could anyone imagine that rondo is hurt too....he did get hit 1000 times so far these two series.....he rolls his ankle...but comes back......always....he gets hammered...hesays''''"gimme the ball"....stay with the guy.....no one was on rondo when the rest of the team was 32 or less....!!!

Unless his elbow is bent to 145 degrees, I cannot accept that any injury will impact Rondo tonight.

MAth people, help me with that.  You know the angle I mean.

I think it's not as much the degrees, as it is from where you start. If you start from a stretched out elbow, 5 degrees will hurt.

I'd say from that position though, it was somewhere between 20 and 35 degrees, from memory. I don't care to actually go and measure it, because I'd be fine having to never, ever see that image again.

When we go to the bench, I hope we go to Hollins before Stiemsma, and hopefully see him more with KG (I don't think we saw him together at all with KG this time around).

I don't like Stiemsma right now. He's not rebounding, can't move defensively, and can't help Bass defend.

Now, after the distraction of the Moore nonsense, back to the game:

Defending fairly well. Happy with that. Rebounding has been better on the defensive glass.

Offense still is a mess, little less so than the other night. Still not enough penetration, too many jump shots. Philly is nothing defensively at the rim. Get KG on the block and attack the basket more and this game will be a blowout in the second half.

Over/Under -Steamer playing .5 minutes in the second half

I'm crossing my fingers for under.

I agree entirely. Don't like anything Stiemsma is bringing to the game. His minutes should go to Hollins.

Prime KG vs Prime Bosh... that would certainly be hilarious.

Actually, it'd be like pit-bull vs chihuahua.

  • It's not hard to work hard.
how many open Js does Bass have to miss before Doc sits his butt?

If Boston wins this--and I'm not convinced it will--it will be a miracle.

uhh...Bass is 4-7 (best % on the team) and is leading the team in scoring.

being critical is fine, but it should be based in fact

I think Bass leaves Steamer (and everyone else) hanging out to dry with his terrible pick and roll defense.

i think his ankle is not 100%...so that would explain the missed layups...you don't jump to where you think you would be.....

If anything, I'd reckon back issues. They're so hard to deal with, and he's on the ground with ice-packs (or are they heat-packs?) on his back all the time. Add to that the known wrist injury, and you know why he doesn't drive often and miss a lot of layups respectively.
