Everyone is counting us out already but I don't think we have played to our abilities yet. We still have an allstar pg in rondo 3hofers and a top defense

If we end up facing miami without bosh. We are a better team than the pacers and hold an advantage with two players...kg and rondo. And you don't think well get super rondo after what happened last year?

This is a team with a lot of pride. They aren't going to let their end be by the sixers. And a matchup with the heat is what they've been waiting for and we ain't goin down without a fight.

Bradley might be done but all that means is other guys have to elevate their games and step up.

Enjoy the ride cause its not over yet

The cs have a knack of never stepping up until its a must win. Look at our wins in game 3 and 5. That's the team I think well see on saturday

Yeah I agree with this. People put to much stock on a game by game basis and series by series. They are all completely different with different matchups and will have different outcomes.

People just assume when guys play bad that that's what we'll see get. People think cause Ray allen has been bad that we should expect 4 ppg from him in a Miami series or that Pietrus will continue to shoot 15% from 3.

Truth is we have no idea what will happen. We could play lights out like we did against Miami the last two meetings against Miami or we could suck. But I just think its ridiculous to count them out because you've seen them play crappy in this Sixers series.

And listing Bradley as a reason is a joke too. He'd obviously be nice to have but he isn't the reason we are going to lose or win that series. Plus the Heat are without Bosh which should make KG that much more of an advantage.

who's gonna cover Wade ?
Ray Allen is an invalid
and Bradley is out.

Celtics are going to have to score 95+
each game - which does not happen consistently.

Pietrus is more than capable of covering Wade.

Who's gonna cover KG?
Joel Anthony is a stiff
and Bosh is out.

See what I did there?

It hurts to write this but...

Celtics
Too old.
Too tired.
Too banged up.
Offense is putrid.

Heat
Too young.
Too strong.
Force of nature.

Not a good matchup at all.

Nothing good happens the remainder of this season if we persist in walking the basketball up the floor, not moving the ball, settling for jumpshots and playing some of the worst perimeter defense this group has played, turning people loose off the dribble repeatedly.

If we play Saturday night the way we did Wednesday, it's over. Right there.
Coined the CelticsBlog term, "Euromistake."

I think Dooling can do a respectable job on wade as well.

Its really not so black and white though. We play team defense.

Im just not sold on the Heat at all. They have 2 guys who need to play out of their minds every game. Eventually that's going to break down at somepoint.

Plus I don't know why people are just completely ignored us beating them the last two times. If the heat blew us out those games everyone would be giving them so much credit and saying how much better they are than us.

Didn't they have Bosh for those games? I don't know if you told me before the series that if we sat Bradley than the Heat would have to sit Bosh I would take that 100 out of 100 times

Pietrus is more than capable of covering Wade.

and what makes you say that?

he couldnt even cover jrue holliday AT ALL game 6.

What makes you think he can cover Wade?

Pietrus is prolly our 2nd best wing defender behind bradley. I don't think he played to his abilities last game.

I wouldn't mind dooling or pavs on wade either

Rondo is going to have to play like he did in 2010 for us to have a shot.

It's going to be really tough to beat the heat, especially because we'll have to contend with the other 3 heat players holding whistles.

Can we do it? Yes. Will we? I'm not getting my hopes up.

Back to wanting Joe fired.
