Man, I know Father Time is undefeated, but it pains me to two our 3 former superstars all on their last legs and barely being able to run up the court.

It feels like I myself havent aged at all since then, I remember it like it was yesterday, yet our players just fell off of a cliff.

I miss 2001. Chandler and Monica were just getting together, Ross and Rachel were on-again/off-again, the show was witty, and Joey was still awesome. Now I look around, and Monica is doing some wildlife show called "Cougar Town", Nobody has seen Ross since he got fired from that thing in WWII, Rachel is apparently never going to be happy cuz of Angelina Jolie, and apparently Joey is an exotic dancer off the strip in Reno.

I know Father time is undefeated, but I remember them all hanging out in Central Perk like it was yesterday.

I also really miss 1994. At one spectacular time in American television when a happy go lucky 5th grader got home from work, before Little League practice, he could get himself a chocolate milk, sit back, and enjoy Batman: The Animated Series, Spiderman, or Gargoyles, and no man, or woman, or law would try to stop him!

Now with your Dora's, and you Youstreams, and your digipokes, and your pokerutos you got kids watching who knows what when they get home.

I know that cultures change, and I can hardly expect kids to be watching the same awesome stuff today that I watched almost 20 years ago, but I remember it like it was yesterday!

Remember `08 when we had to win a Game 7 at home to make it to the ECF's?

We were healthy back then though.

This time its like we know death is coming its just when. Really takes the fun out of winning game 7 if I know were going to get destroyed in the next round.

Yeah, the good old days of eking out 2 game 7s before the ECF.

Injuries, particularly unanticipated injuries, make this game unpredictable. The 2008 team had very few of them. Catastrophic, unanticipated injuries have killed us EVERY YEAR since then (2009 = KG, Powe, 2010 = Perk, Ray (from MWP's cheap shot...absolutely killed his shooting the rest of the series), 2011 = Shaq, Rondo, 2012 = Green, Wilcox, Ray, Pierce, Bradley). That 2008 team was so special for so many reasons...not least of which was the lack of unplanned crazy injuries.

makes me sad because everything you mentioned is so true...

especially that 2009 team might have been one of the greatest basketball teams of all time had they stayed healthy... [dang] :'(

Jeez. Enjoy what is there. Enjoy the team, the individuals, the game. Enjoy a hobbled team, with injuries as long as the day, fighting tough, playing tough. Only one team can win the championship every year. It is a hard road to get there. Enjoy that road even if it doesn't end up exactly how you want it.

I was one of the biggest Avery bradley supporters, but are we really turning his injury into the death knell of the celtics?

If we win game 7 against Philly and end up facing Miami, theres a very good chance they might be missing Bosh...I would say thats a bigger loss than bradley.

sometimes when someone goes down you get production from unexpected places...and that could be pavlovic, pietrus, dooling, Moore who knows..

The problem is that a Boshless Miami heat would still probably sweep this banged up Celtics team.

We are playing our worst basketball of the season, at the worst time.

You missed the very start of the season, didn't you?

every series is a new season essentially. who knows if things start clicking for the C's....we play like game 3 and 5?? we have a good chance. we play like games 4 and 6? well then we have a problem.

im just not ready to already count out this team...it took us two game 7's in 08 to get to the ECF
