Other than Melo its a good all-nba team this year, I'd have put KG or Josh Smith at that forward spot instead.

Oh yeah, they'd beat them badly, especially since either Griffin/Love would have to check Melo. Not to mention just having Wade who's a better player than everyone on the second team.

Edit: And they also don't have a much shooting to create space for them on offense.

Of course Melo would have to guard one of them and I don't think he can handle either guy in the paint.  I actually think Wade would have a field day against Parker or Westbrook as well.  No way they can guard Wade effectively.

I think Melo would do just fine on Love, he'd lose the rebounding battle of course but that's about it.

Probably, but they don't balance the teams for complimentary talents

If Rondo were a stock he'd be cyclical by time of year.  This is his season.

Pierce got 31 votes, Garnett 22, by comparison the 3rd team forwards and centers got 136 (Dirk), 154 (Melo), 60 (Chandler), so not even close, and Aldridge, Marc Gasol, and Josh Smith were ahead of them (and Al Jefferson and Pau Gasol between them).

As for Rondo, he got 4 first place votes to Wades 1 and Westbrooks 5, but a big gap in overall votes between Rondo (142) and Wade (235) and Westbrook (239).

I would take team 3 over team 2 as well.. I think the list is great except for Griffin on team 2... Really? Great to see Rondo there, love that he is getting the appreciation he deserves.

For some reason I thought he was on the All NBA list before. I'm happy to finally see on the list and to see him get his due.
I also think the 3rd team looks better than the 2nd.

future hall of famer. rondos career achievements are looking good so far. would have been cool if he won the skills contest this year at the all star game. i also think he got snubbed for 1st team defense this year (cp3 over rondo, steals arent everything) but 2nd team is still good.
