That should just about wrap up the Celtic season. He was and is the defensive spark plug for this team. We may get by Philly. Miami is another story altogether. They know how to play hardball and our boys won't stand up to the grueling series. 50-50 we beat Philly.

Yup, it's over.  Even if we beat the sixers, we will be lucky to get a game against the heat.  Avery was our only hope for slowing down wade.  And now I wouldn't be surprised if the team plays with a hangover and loses game 7.

Mercifully Philly will win. Don't want the Celts to get humiliated against Miami. Besides aging we have a knack for getting injured now. Turn out the lights the Party's over.

Time for E'Twaun to step up. Hope he gets a burn and produce.

You know that isnt going to happen. Doc wouldnt play Moore if his life was on the line.

Yep...its sad..he has thinklike that...I think Moore is better than a old hurt Ray.

god we are going to suck without AB .   Besides KG turning it up , AB had saved the season.

Our success this season isn't going to come down to whether or not Avery Bradley plays.  Sorry, but that's just not the case.  Bradley is a nice little role player, but this team still goes as Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce goes... with a sprinkle of Ray Allen and Rondo.   If The Truth can battle through that knee injury and play like The Truth... we'll be fine.  KG is playing as good as he's ever played in Boston.

As good as Bradley is, he still causes some problems for us, because he's so undersized.  Makes it so that we have a guy like Rondo guarding a dude a half foot taller than him.

Agreed.  In fact I'd almost prefer the C's to lose game seven than to have Miami beat them like cracked eggs for a second postseason in a row.

I gotta say, this really sucks.  And I will take a minute to have a pity party for ourselves.

We can't sit here and whine about Pierce and Ray being beat up and JO being out for the year.  When we traded for the Big Three, we set ourselves up for dealing with the problems of aging.

However, between last year with Rondo and this year with Green, Wilcox, and Bradely, we've gotten hit hard on our young guys too.

Hopefully we can keep pushing through.  But this is unfortunate.

Wow....Because of Avery Bradley?

We get past Philly and Miami, as flawed a team as we have...Is not going to humiliate anybody.

It's in the Finals that the humiliation comes.  Either team in the west is more likely to sweep the team that comes out of the east than not.

Bradley is an excellent defender.  But he isn't the difference whether we get to the next round or the Finals.

it sucks losing bradley, but if theres any position we have enough depth to handle an injury its at shooting guard.

pietrus, sasha pavlovic, Dooling, etwuan Moore

all have a chance to step in and step up their games.

Consider the fact that the 4 guys you listed + Quis (who is probably still ahead of Moore in the depth chart) will have to back up 3 positions (PG, SG & SF), we are not deep considering the diminishing abilities and contributions. Bradley may be the most expendable of our starters depending how you feel about Bass versus Hollins/Stiemsma, but there is a big drop off from Bradley to the subs.

Raw head count is not depth for a team trying to win.

Sounds good to me. Did anyone really expect us to win the championship this year when the best player on our bench can hardly walk with bone spurs?

Hopefully he can make the Offseason workouts and everything and be our starting Guard next year.

I have a feeling Wade would have purposley hurt Bradley next series anyways.

Wade is the dirtiest player of all-time.

I disagree. Miami could have been beaten by Indiana if they had played more efficient and intelligent basketball. Indiana was basically beaten by two guys. Bradley could have really made a difference in slowing down Wade enough for us to advance to the Finals.

In the Finals, who knows? He would be vital for us against Parker and Ginobli or Harden and Westbrook.

Assuming we win game 7. I think with bradley we probably beat the heat. Kg could really hamper Bosh (who might not even play) and Bradley could slow wade down enough to where it's ALL on Lebron. Now we have no one to guard Wade.

Also really too bad he will miss another chance at playing in the summer league and honing his point guard skills.

KG: "Dude.... What is up with yo shorts?!"
