Now watching this video I have become disgusted by what happened. Pittman obviously tried to injure Stephenson after he went up for the rebound. There's no room for these type of players who without a doubt are only there to injure players.

There's nothing wrong with Tyler who was going after the ball and hit Wade in the face. Next play you see Haslem who didn't even go after the ball went after Tyler and wanted to take him out.

I'm tired of the NBA and their weak attempts to cover up for the Heat when they try to seriously hurt other players. If suspensions aren't hand out to Haslem and Pittman then I have concluded that the NBA is corrupted and is letting the Miami Heat do dirty work for their own good.

I don't see anything in the video that suggests Haslem should be suspended. A fine seems adequate for his flagrant.

Pittman, on the other hand, should be suspended for the remainder of the playoffs. Absolutely reckless, dangerous play. It was obvious he intended to injure Stephenson.

Haslem has to be suspended for a game.

Pittman also, maybe more.

That's just classless on the part of those two. Clearly Hansbrough never intended to hit Wade in the face, was going for the ball but it got a little too much.

Stephenson, although he did taunt the Heat, does not deserve that scary, career threatening hit from Pittman.

I clearly hope this becomes motivation for the Pacers to beat the heat the next two games. And I hope Hansbrough plays the same way. I hope he continues this Antonio Davis style of play to show the Heat that it aint gonna be easy even after he was called for a flagrant.

Both hits are Flagrant 2's. I think Wade's take down of Rondo last year when he dislocated his shoulder was also a cheap shot and Wade intentionally set out to hurt Rondo.

And shows just how weak and paranoid the heat are. Have to go for cheap shots, cos Lebron and Wade feel threatened.

Why don't they stick up for themselves. I don't remember Bill Cartwright or Luc Longley sticking up for MJ, he'd get in peoples faces (like Xavier Mc Daniel and tell him what he thought of them)

No way Stu Jackson has the stones to stones to suspend both Pittman and Haslem, although without a shadow of a doubt both should be.

I think by game 6 Pittman will be suspended but the NBA will allow Haslem to play. Why? It's because they are scared of LeBron and Wade. Superstars are in control of what happens, without them the games would be boring.

As much as I hate the Heat and Lakers, they both have high ratings. So I wouldn't be surprised to see them let Haslem get a fine and review it to let him play game 6. Pittman WILL be suspended without a doubt for his dirty play.

That's just the way I see it, but I still can't believe how the team can't be punished as well. How many times have we seen a player go after another player to only turn the series over? Just look at the Saints and how they had a bounty in place. Seriously, this could become dangerous if a player gets a lethal blow and ends up in a hospital injured or dead.

The NBA has to protect their marketing investment.  So they often let the HEAT get away with stuff and subsidize their scoring or lack thereof with their dirty refs.

At this point, I think Wade could get away with jumping into the stands and hitting a fan. I really do.

Haslem suspended 1 game.

That hurts the heat nicely.

Hopefully they lose game 6, we close out tonight and get some rest!

While I love any member of the cheat being suspended there is NO WAY the foul Haslem committed is worse than the one wade committed on Collison!! This is just Stern trying to show they don't hold the cheat in favor... to me this proves it even more, it only further shows lebrinda and wadena are untouchable but to hell with the other players!
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Hansbrough's foul upgraded to Flagrant 2.

Haslem gets a one-game suspension.

Pittman suspended three games.

That seems about right to me. I didn't think there was much difference between Pittman's foul and Andrew Bynum's cheap shot on J.J. Barea last year.
