The only eastern team left tht would win a game in the finals is Miami.

You don't know what you're talking about. If it's the spurs, they play more the type of basketball the Celtics prefer to play. They could not just have a chance at winning a game, they would have a shot at a championship. I believe this is also true if they play against OKC, too.

There were a lot of makeable shots that simply didn't fall for the Celtics. There were some turnovers also that shouldn't have happened, but did. Hopefully the Celtics come out stronger in the 3rd and 4th.

Has Bass dunked yet....if not he needs to get that inside stuff going again.....it helps..!!!

He's tried. It got blocked a few times. The kid just stinks right now. Hopefully the jumper will go down in the 2nd half.

How is it that Magic Johnson is allowed on TV. He just said that the Celtics will have an edge because they "get more offensive rebounds."

They are by far the worst offensive rebounding team in the playoffs!

I don't. There is just something about this matchup that is turning games ugly. I don't expect the same thing from a Heat Celtics matchup.

I agree, this series is just ugly ugly basketball, we have scored over 100+ points twice, in two blowout wins, we can score, but the next game is always extremely ugly.

Tire legs? Complacency? Who knows. But this team is still good, these two teams are just like Russel Westbrooks outfits, they just dont look good when mixed together.

Bass has actually been fouled on a number of those dunks, but it hasn't been called. So don't exactly be insulting Bass just yet. KG, however, is missing like everything so far. He has to get his shot going. We really need him to be himself.

Gah. Yet another terrible, slow, plodding offensive first half.

Defense was outstanding in the second quarter, particularly Pietrus. That's why we have the lead.
Coined the CelticsBlog term, "Euromistake."

I don't think this series has anything to do with a series we might be playing against Miami. I think the Sixers entire gameplan is to make the game ugly and have a shot to steal it at the end. I don't think Miami plays that style of basketball. I think we would have an easier time scoring against them. Hopefully...

Sixers are double teaming, triple teaming, and trapping our star players almost everytime they touch the ball, when we pass, guys cant hit open shots because we dont have very good shooters on this team outside of our stars...who are getting trapped.

Sixers are forcing us to get to the foul line, or let our non shooters beat us, and its working so far this series.

Numbers don't lie. 6-3 in our favor.
