Oh, how surprising to see Sixers putting out some real effort in possibly the biggest game of the season! They should have let the game from the get go!
We are going to win this game as long as we keep playing the way we have played in perimeter defense.

Ray is hurt, Paul is hurt, Avery is out.  Sixers shoot 55% and 3-5 from three.  And the C's are down by 3.

What is the point of playing Ray Allen.

Hes shooting 29% from 3 and cant play defense.

Marquis and Sasha are both better players.

MD and SP don't play much better defense over Ray. And I'll take Ray's floor spacing and potential to get hot over those 2 players anytime.

To be honest picking between those 3 guards is like picking through a basket of bruised apples.

This game is all about collective energy and effort, and then riding KG, Rondo and Pierce. Those 3 hold the fate of this game in their hands.

I'd like to see Pietrus start the second half instead of Ray Allen.

Try to crank up the defense.

The Celtics offense is pretty solid. Should have made some shots that we missed, though, but that's besides the point.

Philly pretty much, with very good defense on them a lot of times, are just making shots. Not just making shots, but making tough shots. We have to do a better job to prevent those offensive boards they've gotten, however. And Ray Allen is really playing hard out there. He's playing very good defense. Philly's just making shots.

Down 3 at half is pretty good position for the Celtics. The Celtics, if they play the game properly and get some defensive stops, should be able to win this game.

and I'd like to see Hollins clothesline Lavoy Allen but that's not going to happen either

Ssha does play better D...MD....sometimes good, sometimes not.....Ray is getting a lot of D pressure from sixers.....sasha can do a lot......worth  minutes to try...the sixers are fast for pp, ray and bass to cover.....

Got some useful minutes out of Stiemsma. I thought that gave the team a nice lift late in the first early second quarter. Nice to get some production out of one of the backup bigs.

Pietrus starting the second half might be a good idea for the team, to be honest, but Ray's defense has helped us a lot in the first. A lot of stuff that happened wasn't even his fault.

Ray got that huge steal for us early in the game, when the 76ers could've got an easy point off of it. He got that huge offensive rebound for us when we needed it.
