Down by 3 at halftime... We are quite fortunate considering how we played. This is scaring and conforting at the same time.

Ray is hurt, Paul is hurt, Avery is out.  Sixers shoot 55% and 3-5 from three.

And the C's are down by 3.

Look, the C's may lose this game, but if things go the way they have been going (all year) the Sixers will cool off.

The negativity on this thread is at an all-time low as far as I can see.  No need for it.  If no one here can see signs of hope then I'll pack it in for the night and root by myself.

A very poor defensive showing to start the game and a lot of problems on the defensive boards, but a solid offensive showing.

If we can get a return to the Celtics defense of old (a little tougher with a hobbled Ray in place of Bradley), I think we can pull away.

Is this some kind of collective tribute to Stan Van?  Because there are a lot of Masters of Panic in here right now.

Haha tp
Back to wanting Joe fired.

it really is simple....boston has to bring the defense up a notch or they will not win tonight.

All in all, could be worse.  The C's are playing sloppy and missing some easy shots.  The Sixers are actually hitting some contested shots.  Chances are things will swing in the C's favor in the second half.

This team looks exactly like it did the first half of the season before they discovered Avery Bradley's game. Avery Bradley is out of this game, it's not a coincidence. Who knew Avery Bradley would be this important this season, the defense is on a completely different level with him in there.

Ray Allen is done right now. If he can't get open, then he shouldn't be out there.

  • It's all about the TEAM!
It's gonna take defense, heart and Celtic Pride.

We need to bring it in the 3rd quarter and get this crowd into a frenzy.

Where is that Bass thumping???

Come on let's go!!!!

This was a good half for us. For whatever reason, we play poorly in the 2nd half when we have a big lead. We play our best ball when we're down a few and want to make a statement. Rondo usually gets more aggressive in the 2nd also.
