I don't think there is anyway the c's make it to the finals if Bradley cant play against Miami . This will cause Pietrus to have to move to the starting lineup meaning Sasha/Daniels and Ray would have to cover lebron and wade for the second unit.

Don't like the chances of that happening .

The only reason Sasha is on this team is to defend Lebron.  I am fine with him doing that.

I agree.  A Miami series is what Sasha is built for.

But of course a Bradley loss would be big.

Crazy ... gotta respect his toughness and heart.
Yup, good sign from a young player. Hopefully the offseason surgery will be effective and allow him to avoid future issues with the shoulder.

man why do I keep thinking the basketball gods are doing everything to derail the celtics season this year...

Yeah, Dwight Howard, Joakim Noah, Derrick Rose, Chris Bosh, Josh Smith, and Al Horford all were hit with injuries.

The basketball gods are really frowning on the Celtics.

The Celtics certainly aren't in the worst shape of all the teams in the NBA, but just look at the West. The Celtics have been far less lucky than any of the Western contenders.

This is unfortunate; however, if we had to get an injury somewhere, the 2-guard spot is the spot we can best withstand it.  Ray, Pietrus, Daniels, and Pavlovic have all played well at times this year.  And Marquis Daniels can do many of the things that Bradley can do (good on the ball defender, good cutter).

I'm not trying to downplay this, it would still suck to lose him.  But we're better equipped to deal with his loss than any other starter.

Right after that shoulder dislocated and popped back in Bradley went out, hit two free throws and then waved off his replacement and stayed in for another few minutes.

Kid can play on my team any time he wants. He's tough as nails.

I think this is smoke and mirrors. I doubt Bradley stops playing. If anything he's probably getting more used to dealing with the pain.

Chris Webber was on NBA Tv talking with the crew about Boston - Philly game.

He said that he talked with Doc and that Bradley actually have problems with BOTH shoulders and will probably have a surgery in the offseason.

Its better that he gets surgery now. Its dangerous to keep getting your shoulder dislocated, and at worse can cause long term damage.

That would be tragic for both Bradley and the Celtics future.

When Ray Allen's the backup, that's one position where an injury isn't going to kill your team.

I have a feeling we will see AB in two games, hopefully a Game 1 with Indy, after he's had a nice layoff.
