I think Sugar Ray has a good game in him coming up real soon.  I would love to see him catch fire in game 5.

It's time to shut the doubters up, Ray!!

Seeing as how he cant get open to shoot, I fail to see how he has a good game. Maybe he hits some spot up 3's?

Hes done in my opinion, at least until he gets that surgery, he cant play in his current state.

I remember when I told the board here that Ray was a spot up shooter at this point in his career, everyone called me crazy.

Hes even below a spot up shooter now.

Now, hes a "Decoy"

How the mighty have fallen, I hope he gets back to 100% after that surgery.

Ray can still hit shots.  Two days off is better than one day off.  Find a way, Ray.

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
While he's not showing evidence that he can, boy I do hope that he does shut us up. I'm hoping for it.

Yeah, Ray has definitely been washed up since...  Game 2 of this series?  When he was our leader in points, shot 50% from the field, contributed on the boards, and had three steals?

Well, in game 4 Doc continued to give him the chance to shut us up but what happened? I do agree on giving him the chance but not at the cost of winning.

Now is not the time to ride on his past laurels, frankly I'd give him the rookie treatment, if he doesnt have it going, go for other options

he just put up 17points in game 2...I think its abit pre-mature for everyone to be claiming that hes "washed up" or "done" lets see how he does in game 5

good points, even if they are not what we want to hear right now. ray has  based his game on being methodical and having the same release, same movements, same mechanics to achieve his great shooting.

with the pain he feels, i think he cant get into his usual rhythm. what is he shooting in the playoffs for free throws now? something along the lines of 60% i believe. even with a small sample size, this indicates something is wrong with ray.

i hope he can produce when needed, but for now he may indeed be best as a decoy.

on a different notw, rondo is the opposite of ray in terms of repetition and repeating shoot mechanics. rondo shoots from such a wild range of positions, angles, etc.

i have believed this is part or rondo's poor shooting percentages career wise.

Ray is about a Derek Fisher at this point.

Spot up shooter but a defensive liability.

Pretty much this.

I give the nod to Fisher at this point, Fisher still can penetrate, and handle the ball.

From what I've seen of Ray, his shot is way off.  If Bradley can't go  normal rotation, then maybe E'Twaun should be given a little PT.
