This C's team is a Disgrace!

how is it painful to be a celtics fan?? because they lost game 4 in philly? ...the c's gave this game away, and its not always easy to win 2 in a row on another teams court

we're tied in the 2nd round with a good chance to make it to the ECF...I remember when we were down 2-1 against the cavs and went on to win that series and go to the finals.

This team doesnt like to make things easy for themselves, but somehow in the end they come out on top...look at the atlanta series...this team has been hearing this the whole season how they are "done" and all they have been doing is coming back from adversity and ending up on top.

I'm fully expecting the C's to come out with a sense of urgency on monday and go up 3-2

I am ashamed for them and absolutely hope they lose and get it over with.

Maybe it's time to find a new hobby?  If you hate watching the games and are rooting for this team to lose, it might be good to spend your time doing something that you actually enjoy?

yes, Roy, you're right that we need to keep the Celtics fortunes in perspective - but i can relate to the pain and frustration expressed by Shadow.

having grown up in the Russell era - i have this mindset that the Celtics play to a certain level and should be the NBA Champions, at least most of the time.

unrealistic ? probably. but the Celtics franchise is unique.

Man ...I just so bummed    ....I was SO POSITIVE we had this game in the bag , up by like 15 , crowd boo ing the 76er's , fans there cheering for Celtics, team looked great and 76er's defeated.   So , I turned off the TV at half and went to do some work confident a blow out was in the making.........

Wake up this morning and   WE LOST??

I had to stare for 5 minutes to believe I was seeing the final score right.

Thats what I call grasping DEFEAT form the clutchs of VICTORY ....

I can name 22 teams right now who wish they were such a "disgrace".

I'm so proud of this team and how they've beaten the odds this year - old age, injuries, bad press, lukewarm fans, doubters, haters, and bandwagoners who jump ship with a single bad game.

This team has more heart, character, grit, and pride, than any three other teams put together, and will never be a disgrace as far as I'm concerned.

easy does it - my comments weren't intended to be taken literally. having said that, i don't think it's too much to expect 2 - 3 Celtic titles every decade, with an ocassional longer run - that would keep the tradition alive quite nicely.

Well, as I'm sure most of us are aware - the Los Angeles Clippers, lead by supposedly the best PG in the game in Chris Paul - lost a TWENTY-TWO point lead today, and are thus down 3-0.

I am betting that the Spurs come out with fire in their bellies and break out the brooms on Chris Paul and the Clips.

Once the Clips are thankfully sent home, the supposedly best PG in the game and the most exciting PF in the game (not best PF - mind you) will be done for this season.

That being said....BOS will still be playing through June.

Ramon Sessions is not what they thought he was...Kobe will be a year older, Pau will probably be traded, and Drew? While he is definitely an All-Star talent, I am guessing that he will be less effective without Pau there.

Never in my life have I been so infuriated by a team that plays really well every so often. The way that this team plays, by players who get paid millions of dollars, mind you, to give the fans entertainment have failed miserably this year. They are one of the worst teams to watch when they play badly, ie: no heart, energy, desire, intelligence, finisher. Never have I dreaded days that they play and they have beaten and thrashed my hope and thrill of watching a a basketball game. Hey, I know they can't win every game, but the way they play in these bad losses is unacceptable.  Have you watched the  Thunder or Spurs this year? This C's team is barely a shell of what these teams bring NIGHT IN AND NIGHT OUT! I am ashamed for them and absolutely hope they lose and get it over with.
