I've never felt more heartbroken this year then with this game primarily becasue of it;s implications.  that siad, everytime I've thought this team was finished, they have risen to the occasion.  They just have found a way.  I think we'll win this series but it will require a max effort by everyone, and some intelligence by Doc to do it.  They believe in themselves, and that's half the battle.

Lots of fickle fans after one loss. That is about as sad to see as the loss. It was a bad game but it was 1 game!

One loss? That makes two losses this series, both of which were entirely avoidable. These guys just never learn their lesson. Yes, a title would essentially make us forget these epic failures, but that's not the point; the point for me--and, I suspect, many other CBers--is: why let a series go 6 or 7 when you could--and should--end it in 4 or 5? Every loss is not only a step closer to elimination, but also another strike against the team's energy supply and health, which already seems to be in short supply.

There are two kinds of people: those who say to God, 'Thy will be done,' and those to whom God says, 'All right, then, have it your way.'

You don't have a soul. You are a Soul. You have a body.

So they collapsed on the road in the playoffs against a good young team and a bunch of referees. It's not the end of the world. If they lose game 5 it just might be time to worry, but not right now. I see this team closing the series out on the road in 6.

Hard to beat eight men, especially when 3 of them are wearing black and white.

  • You say when......
Well, there is NO doubt they CAN  do it......doc doesn't help any...he is a guy who read the "how to coach" book....but doesn't really get it...... His idea of coaching is, put the 5 starters out there every playoff game and have them win it...draw up a play and call a timeout...THAT is how he thinks it is. Leaving those 5 in there, makes it easy for the other team, they only have those guys to read.

i am bothered the most by the fact they had philly in the grave. they came out and handled them...then just quit

now suckers have new life and think they can win the series

Sixers CAN win the series, they just have to make it a dogfight and keep it close, if they can keep it close going into the 4th, Lou Williams and Iguodala can close the game for them, they have been the best closers on the floor this series.

I repeat, we WILL NOT win if we are in a dogfight with this team. They are younger, quicker, more athletic, and currently have more fight in them. Celtics are too old and slow to get into a dogfight with this team, we have to blow them out and hopefully make them quit, if they keep it close we are in trouble.

you forgot the part where you say the 76'ers are a pitbull and c's are poodles that you copy and paste onto every post on here and realgm. ;)

Sums up this thread

The overreaction of fans on this site to both wins and losses never ceases to entertain me.

Yep, you know which CB'ers you'd take to war with you and which eggheads to leave behind at their PCs because the going got tough and they like to look intelligent because they see the writing on the wall and you don't.

People keep forgetting we got one thing the 76ers don't have and its going to show up.

A bad performance doesn't change how well positioned this team is to make a run to the NBA Finals.

They just had a bad game.
