Sorry to say, we are old, tired, injured and definately look like we are on our last legs.

We have no bench. We have no big men outside of KG. And were getting crushed on the boards, we cant seem to not turn the ball over.

I really dont understand this team, its like they turn into the Bobcats after they get a double digit lead, and cant recover afterwards.

Ray Allen is finished. Done. Anyone else wishing that trade went through? He cant even get open for a shot anymore.

I hope this team recovers and wins this series but we arent beating Indiana and will get swept in the Finals if we make it there unless we somehow find the fountain of youth and teach our players common sense, they turn into extremely stupid players whenever we get leads.

On a final note, the Celtics need to learn one rule.

Dont get into a dog fight vs a young pit bull, when your an injured, past its prime, gray haired poodle. You will lose everytime.

I'll agree with you on Ray Allen but disagree with anything else. This was Philly's last stand and hats off to them. They just played better.

Well, we get an extra day's rest for Game 5.  The hard part is over for now.

That loss had nothing to do with being out of gas.

Indeed, it had to do with resorting to jump shooting when driving inside was working just fine in the previous game.
In addition, Ray Allen is a serious liability and I am baffled that Doc stuck with him in the last few minutes of the 4th as he was behind a lot of Philly's open shots.

loss was not due to being out of gas.  it was due to player and coaching stupidity and incompetence.

Pretty close, although the notion that Allen lost this game is a laugh I needed.

This is the dumbest Celtics team I can remember. I had high school teams that didn't have the problems this team has recognizing what works and sticking with it.

If we don't force the pace from the guard position - and Rondo was terrible with that tonight, just walking and pounding the ball most of the night - then these epic collapses are just waiting to happen.

That's why it was so easy to call this steaming pile in the second quarter in the game thread

Could see this coming from a mile away.

I don't think it is the case they ran out of gas but what do teams do when they run  out of gas...take jumpshots

loss was them doing what they do..letting up when up big....falling in love with the jumper and giving up 17 offensive boards while turning the ball over 17 times

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
The loss was about bad coaching rotations. The lack of trust in the bench that resulted in open shots and a ton of offensive boards.

While the turnovers did most of the damage, they still manage to take control until such time that Philly's rebounding and shooting, because Doc is too stubborn to leave Ray on the floor killed us in the end. Trust me 2 less offensive rebounds from Philly and were talking about closing the series.

Doc needs to trust his bench.

WADR, I disagree entirely.

Rotations had nothing to do with this. Execution on the floor was atrocious.

i noticed paul was bringing the ball up some, doesn't help setting the pace, bradley picking up that fourth foul hurt alot, doc should of played him anyways

I'm outta gas, while we're on the subject.

Can anyone e-mail me some 87 regular? ;D

JUST KIDDING.

All I know is that I was in Physics class, checking the score during break only, and saw us up by a ton at one point.

Next time? Saw that lead decrease, and so forth.

So is this one on the refs? Did our team just let up off their necks? What was the reason?

Because I absolutely refuse to believe that The Boston Celtics I know are out of gas.

So...when PHI is history and BOS is continuing this miraculous march into June.......

...will we still be out of gas?

And stack - "young pit bulls" can be put down, too.

PHI will get theirs, no doubt. BOS will recover, and we can all step away from the ledge. :)
