They really don't.

I know a lot of folks are going to be mad because of the way the team lost the game, but we were basically facing a team that was playing for the lives.  And everything the threw up went in.  So it isn't surprising that we lost and it says little to me that we were ahead big in the first half.  In a 48 minute game, they were desperate, a bit lucky, and in the end scored more points.

That's it.

And if this trend carries on to the next game? And the one following that?

They settled for jump shooting in the second half, their old nemesis rebounding became a factor and Ray Allen can't defend for ****.

Philly is not a good team. They are the worst team left in the playoffs.

C's are a really predictable team because they cannot bring it every night like the younger teams can. This series may very well cost the C's the next one.

yet another opportunity to give ourselves the small chance at winning a title this year by maybe making this a short series and getting rest before the ECF - but No, we get cute and give it away with turnovers, horrible executuion and even worse defensive rebounding coverage.

If it carries on then we talk about it then. The next game hasn't happened yet. Why not wait and see what happens...

Generally, I would agree, if not that some of the problems that manifested themselves in this game were present in game 2 as well (and game 1 which we were fortunate to win).

I actually hate early leads because it's fools gold.

I'd rather the C's play well and close early building up to a bigger lead late.

The C's obviously shouldn't have lost but this is the NBA where you can blow a 27 point lead in 6 minutes so anything can happen.

I called my friend outside Philly and told him that despite being up double digits, I didn't like the tone of the game

1.= letting shot clock get down to 7 seconds before getting into motion
2.= poor defensive rebounding
3.= turnovers

2 and 3 are a recipe for disaster....we were just lucky early that Philly could not throw it in the ocean
