They're no more flawed than literally any other contender out there.
They're flawed in a similar manner to the Lakers, incredibly dependent on their top 3 players.

Additionally they also lack any quality big men beyond Bosh, as we've seen.

I don't know if they're "more flawed" than many teams, but they're certainly flawed in a different way than several of the other front line contenders.

Actually I think Bosh compliments Lebron very well.  And with Lebron > Wade, it leaves Wade as the odd man out.  In fact the Heat have done much better w/o Wade in the lineup than with him, and its mostly because Wade is redundant offensively to Lebron on offense, and can be a liability on the defensive end.
I agree.  Next year if Miami was able to move Wade for say, Howard (speculation on my part of a quality center Miami needs), and then they're able to sign Ray for the MLE to be the outside shooter they need, they've just locked in a very complimentary set of starters (until Ray retires and they get a different SG) that would have to be the top contender.

If Miami can move Lebron for Howard straight up, it would do wonders for the Heat
That would be the most unstoppable team

Given Pat Riley's obsession with putting together a roster full of guys about the same height who can play on the perimeter, I wonder if trading Wade for Josh Smith would fit their team concept better than Wade for Dwight Howard.

Josh Smith (PF) would be a really good fit alongside Chris Bosh (C) and LeBron James (SF).

I've said it from the very start. There is no championship for the Heat without Chris Bosh. I've known this all along.

That would mean more if there was a championship for the Heat *with* Bosh.

Hah, it's pretty funny to me how people start talking about how "flawed" the Heat are when they're down 2-1 to the Pacers. Is everyone somehow forgetting that this "flawed" team made it within a couple of wins of a championship last year???

And yeah, even if they do get beat by the Pacers, it'll be because one of their key guys got injured. Assuming Bosh hadn't gone down, this team probably would've cake-walked right back to the finals.

They're no more flawed than literally any other contender out there.

When you throw a lavish celebration to declare yourselves the best ever before you even step on the court together, expect a certain amount of revelry in your failure.

If the expectations are too high and the media circus is too crazy, they have no one to blame but themselves.

I have no problem with the criticism of them. Hell, I dislike them myself, and a lot of the criticism is deserved. I also think they're very beatable, especially without Bosh. I just think it's hilarious when people criticize the way the team was built, as if getting Lebron, Wade, and Bosh on the same team was a bad idea. It's just silly

Josh Smith and Jeff Teague for Wade would fill out the Heat's roster nicely.

Again, when you pose on a stage with pyrotechnics and dancing girls and say you expect to win
"not one . . . not two . . . not three . . . not four . . . not five . . . not six . . . not seven . . . but eight" titles together and declare yourselves "the greatest trio in basketball history" before you've ever played a game as a team, then I find it only natural that when some of your flaws as a team start to get exposed, that you'll catch more flak than other "flawed" teams.

The pressure weighs really heavy on this team, and if they can't get it done for a second straight year, I wouldn't be surprised if some changes are made.
