Pass the Kleenex.  I'm getting a little misty eyed over the woes of Dwayne Wade.

Umm . . . Not!

I used to be a big wade guy before Lebron and Bosh came to town. Seemed like he changed a lot. I used to want him so bad on the Celtics. I remeber in the 2010 run he beat us by himself in the one game that the heat one and I was in awe of him doing that. But now he has turn in to a whiny dirty player, and I cant stand that.

Now all we need is the return of "Lelbow" and the heat will have all the excuses in the world.

Back to wanting Joe fired.

This is the difference between Paul and someone like Wade what a baby ::)

INDIANAPOLIS -- Tough defense may not have been the only factor that contributed to Dwyane Wade having one of the worst playoff performances of his career in Thursday's blowout loss in Game 3 to the Indiana Pacers.

Wade is still dealing with lingering injuries that forced him to miss several games late in the regular season, and the Miami Heat guard required treatment in recent days for knee and leg soreness, sources told ESPN.com Thursday.

How is this different than Pierce?  Pierce also had several bad games that the media attributed to injury.  Its not like Wade is going to the media saying he is injured, he is keeping his mouth shut about it, just like Pierce.
Its not, the Heat have to worry though. Pierce has a better old man style game when he doesn't have his lift/explosion. (not that Pierce's first two 76ers games were better than Wade's ugly game 3)

Its harder for Wade to adjust to not being able to explode to the rim. Wade is looking like he might have a T-Mac style decline rather than a more traditional one for a player of his caliber.

I thought his shoulder looked like it was hurting him. Probably injured when he lowered it to knock Darren Collison into next New Year with a football tackle in game two.

based off the OP... Wade wasn't quoted at all. I'm not a Wade fan but.. is there a quote of him blaming his injuries?

No one's on the team's blaming Wade's performance on injuries:

"He never makes excuses, and we won't do that as well," coach Erik Spoelstra said. "No one is feeling 100 percent."

"It's obvious he wasn't himself," LeBron James said. "At this point everyone is a little banged up."

"It could be a lot of reasons," Wade said, explaining his bad night. "You get to this point of the season, no one is 100 percent."

I'm sure he's injured - he definitely looks it.  And maybe there's a little karma there for his cheap shot on Collison  But it's a major reach to say he's making excuses.

Agreed, OP couldnt have made a worse comparison if he tried...its almost a replica of what just happened after Pierces bad game 2
Pierce actually had a sprained knee though unlike Wade all of a sudden he is now injured maybe shouldn't have blamed it on Wade more on whoever in their camp is using the injury card is what I'm saying, that info from sources came from Wade or somebody in their camp most likely

I agree mostly but still this came out after the game not before or during like Pierce. Plus its vague saying "lingering" injuries and him recently getting treatment.

Isn't every player at this time in the playoffs getting treatment for "lingering " injuries during the season?

I don't see any character issue with Wade having a bad game that may or may not be attributable to injuries.  I also don't see any issue with what his teammates or coach said.

The character issue is the hissy fit with the coach during a game on National TV.  I am not sure why this needs to be compared to anything Pierce has done but if you must, Pierce has had his moments but never anything like that.

I wonder if they could trade Wade for Dwight Howard?  Or maybe a 3-way with LA getting Howard, Miami getting Bynam and Orlando still getting Wade.  Now that could be fun.

He will never be a role player off the bench...value in trade , near worthless to a REAL BASKET BALL TEAM that plays 5 players on the court.

True, he'll never be the kind of player who can win you a championship.

But Wade didn't say anything, just like Pierce hasn't said anything.  This is stuff leaked by other people.

This is just green glasses.  Pierce is one of the biggest drama queens in the league, and he always has been.  That doesn't mean he isn't tough as nails when it counts, but to suggest he is dealing with his injury any different than Wade is just not the case.

The difference I see between Pierce and Wade is that Pierce's injury was known about before the games so everyone knew what was happening going in and therefore if he had a bad game, he at least tried to play through it. Wade on the other had had a pretty bad game and then comes out and makes the excuse that he was "hurt". For all we know, it's just an excuse because watch during the next game Wade will come out torch the Pacers offensively. Then the media will be up in arms about how Wade is "so tough for playing so well through his 'injury'".
Take me where the Boston Celtics fans roam free without judgment from my enemies.

I will take Wade. How about sign and trade Ray + Clips pick for Wade.  I would even throw in JaJuan.

Funny how this stuff comes out now. No one feels sorry for the Heat. They made their bed by going three max guys.
