Are we all really that surprised by this?  I mean seriously...

We've seen this enough times to the point where I think we can say more often than not, this is just who this team is.

They build a big lead, they get bored, cute, and let the other team right back in the game.

It's who they are people.  It's pointless to get mad about it and easier to just accept it.
