Good god, I dont understand this team. Its like they want to lose the game on purpose, like they want a long series.

So far these playoffs I have seen some of the WORST games played by the Celtics of all-time.

That has to be concerning. Maybe the c's just arent a very good basketball team, and can only play well one out of every 15 or so games.

  • You say when......
ALL playoo=ffs long i have seen most teams have to beat the refs...they make themselves an obstacle....this is the oddest union league ever......in miami..you have to be +12 points for the refs to let you play some..even then they will poke at ya....

Absolutely hideous offensive quarter. No penetration. No aggression. No ball movement.

No nothing. Awful, awful, awful.
yup, that's our all-star veteran team.  consistently playing like they have no idea how to play basic offense.  been seeing that for 5 years now.

Rondo looked disinterested that quarter. Need more points out of him. Foul trouble or not.

C'mon guys, stop talking about refs: you can't get free throws if you don't attack the rim. This is only a jump shooying team, so we have to understand this team carrys on streaks, ups and downs

The reffing is criminal, we have 23 PFs to Philly's 13.
When you lose, the easy part is to see who gives up. Giving up is very simple. You basically take your stuff and walk away. To continue to work and to continue to compete is one of the most difficult things, especially when you really don't have anything - KG

We knew they weren't going to continue to shoot as bad as they did in the first.  They made some runs in the second but I wasn't all that comfortable we would maintain that lead.  They had their run and we have have a lead going into the fourth.  Hold them off and put them to bed.

Not calling the officials out when we're not smart enough to do the things offensively that got us a rout Wednesday night.

Doing NOTHING well offensively at this point.
Coined the CelticsBlog term, "Euromistake."

Being fair, the Celtics had the Sixers in the penalty with 8 minutes left and never went tot the basket.

Five minutes. Just five minutes of what the brought in the first qtr and we can all go home. Also need KG to get back in the mix: 2-11?
