One reason I'd rather play the Pacers is that I am afraid for Rondo's elbow against the Heat.

Also, does anyone else notice that while Paul Pierce is saying that there are no excuses and that if he steps on the floor, he is expected to perform at his peak, Wade is complaining that he is hurt and making excuses?

I still think the Heat win this series and I don't think we are out of the woods yet with Philadelphia.  Tonight's game is huge.

Its hard to not root for the Pacers.
The Celtics match up with them great and I'd much rather play them in Indiana, especially after beating the Heat, then the Heat, especially after winning this series through adversity.

As a Celtics fan, I feel like this Game 4 in that series is just as important as a Celtics game.

The Heat has more problems right now than just injuries. I thought during the season their coach was doing a very poor job and now he and Wade are bickering. That is going to split the team and change their focus. I'm not sure they can recover from last night.

Give Labron some credit for trying to be positive with the bench when he came out of the game. I think he realizes he needs to rally the troops and be the peacemaker for Coach and Wade.

I dont get the people on here that would prefer the heat.

These guys have the two best players in the east who absolutely torched us last year and you're more scared of danny granger and roy hibbert?

Roy isnt going to have a 20/20 game when playing on KG, and the rest of their guys can be silenced with good team defense. Give me the Pacers any day.

Hibber isnt going to have a 20/20 game period.

He tops out at around 15 points, Hibber is a solid player, but hes not a star by any means. Hes good for 15 points and 10+ rebounds, but hes not going to dominate a game like Dwight Howard is. I dont get all this Hibbert hype.

If we face the Pacers we will have the three best players on the court, by far in Rondo, Pierce and KG. That alone makes me comfortable facing them, when you face the heat you have to worry about LeBron and Wade each scoring 50, and getting your enitre team in foul trouble.

Hibbert is getting bettter and in his biggestt game of his professional career he just nearly put up 20/20...so to say he wont "period" is a bit ridiculous...almost as crazy as touting for Dwight Howard after the season he had..and you're talking hype? ha. No one cares

the pacers will surely pull this off, the heat is doomed right from the start..sadly they are pinning the blame on spoelstra, who at this point is doing a good job intertwining the yarn that binds the egos of both lebron&wade, hypocritically shows they are good, only on good times, but shows disgust at each other when they aren't successful..with bosh already removed from the equation, the team is spiralling and already close to the panic mode..the pacers on the other hand are like the 76ers,up and coming, promising, but definitely lacks the heart and playoff machinery which boston has gathered all these years..like the sixers, the pacers would be giving all they've got but with the celts, even at their worst would still make it close against them..

Sounds crazy; but would rather face the Heat than the Pacers.

no thank you.

1)Pierce our most important scorer struggles mightily against Lebron. I'd rather he go up against Danny Granger than Lebron.

2)Bosh could very be back for ECF

3)The League will screw us over to get Lebron & Heat to the Finals (not taking that chance)

4)At the end of the day, Experience (Celtics) > Youth (Pacers)
prevails in the playoffs

I think that the Pacers can pull this off.  That Miami team really looks like they are falling apart at the seams.  Of course, having the immense talent of Lebron James and Dwayne Wade still means they have a chance to pull it together, but a second round upset at the hands of the Pacers would be so sweet.

The greatest trio ever assembled: Roy Hibbert, David West, and Danny Granger?
DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

The Pacers would never get credit if Miami loses this series.  Instead, the storyline would be that Lebron and Heat committed the most devastating chokejob since David Carradine.

I still don't think the Pacers can pull this off (and won't until they actually do), but watching last night's game was awesome.

The pacers have won both games in similar fashion though. They outlasted Miami for two straight games. There has to be something to that.

I'm not going to get my hopes up too much, but I'm beginning to think that either Wade or Lebron are going to have to go supernova to beat the pacers. I haven't looked at the numbers, but it seems the Pacer's bench is holding up really well. If this continues, it's going to be very hard for the heat to win.

I guess we'll see.

From what I saw it was hard-nosed defense, a little mental weakness/just missing their shots from Miami (whichever you think is accurate), and interior dominance.

And aside from just hitting your shots, not a lot of that fixable for Miami. Bosh needs to come back.

I was surprised to see the score after getting home from school last night.  I thought Miami would have kept it a lot more competitive in game 3.

It's a good season to be young, deep and healthy - the Pacers are thriving.

Yeah, if we play Indy, I'll be making sure to put my order in for a Finals T-shirt before game one of the ECF.

They don't worry me at all. If we get that far, will alone will carry us.

Now if we play the heat, I'd be a bit more worried.
