Dream scenario for the draft: Moe Harkless and Tony Wroten.  Two gazelles to run with Rondo.

Wroten reminds me a lot of Quincy Pondexter. Though, Wroten is a terrible 3pt and FT shooter. Turns the ball over a lot. A lot like Pondexter in a way that he was a good player out of UW but has a lot of flaws.

The following players are mentioned to have boston workouts

Moe Harkless SF St Johns (great possibility but i think he will go higher after combines/workouts)

Kervin Bristol PF Fordham above average rebounder but not likely to be drafted

Orion Outbridge F Rhode Island 13pts 7rb 2 blks a game as senior

(I personally feel a Moe Harkless + Andrew Nicholson draft would be a home run for the Cs)

Also a note I have yet to see any mention of Royce White, TOny Wroten or Quincy Miller working out for the celtics

Huge URI fan here - would love to see Danny spend the late 2nd rounder on Orion Outerbridge.

It's still very early, so far we've only worked out 3 guys projected to go in the first round.

I also wouldn't mind picks of Harkless & Nicholson on draft night. The more I read about and see of Nicholson the more I like. The only knock on him seems to be that he's a senior/older player. The only thing that I don't like about Harkless is how he's sometimes described as a tweener.  However, If Danny gives Harkless the thumbs up I'm with it.

I think that Nicholson is a good pick and has more upside than most college seniors.

He started playing hoops late and progressed every year in college. He added something to his repertoire every year. Most recently, he added big range to his shot and now shoots the 3ball with confidence.

Yes, Andrew Nicholson will be the biggest steal of this year's draft. I also wouldn't mind the Celtics picking up Doron Lamb with their 2nd first rounder. With their 2nd round pick, Henry Sims, Kyle O'Quinn or Miles Plumlee.

Hopefully, too, that Jeff Green and Wilcox comes back 100%.

2012-13 lineup:

PG---Rondo, Bradley, Moore
SG---Lamb, Pietrus, Bradley
SF---Pierce, Jeff Green, Pavlovic
PF---KG, Nicholson, Wilcox, Bass, JJJ
C----Steamer, Sims/O'Quinn/Plumlee

Terrance Ross is to workout for the Cs in Miami today

(I really dont think Ross falls to the 20s, if true this could be a sign that the Cs are exploring trading up)

Depending on the further development of AB and Ross they could join Rondo to form a 3 guard rotation that compliments each other well.

Nicholson and Harkless worked out together today for Orlando.

Nicholson was measured at 7'4" wingspan and 10 1/2 inch hands. Pretty epic.

Orlando picks 19th.

That length could be very convincing for GM's worrying about his ability to get his shot off against NBA bigs.  You don't see his combination of size, shooting and post scoring too often.

I can see him climbing to the edge of the lottery.

That length also allows him to be a 4/5 and not just a PF

huge URI fan too but Outerbridge should only be a summer camp invitee.  Not an NBA talent from what I saw of him in college.  Solid character guy though.  Wouldn't mind him getting an invite but no way he makes the roster (even as a 2nd round pick).  If he was picked/invited AND made the roster, C's are in major trouble next year.

Ross is my favorite wing in the draft. Ideal size, athletcism, shooting and he defends.

Unfortunately it looks like the secret's out.

I guess maybe we could take Lamb with the second round pick, but how do you see him starting over Bradley next year? He would basically be at the same place on the depth chart that Moore was this year. Also, if KG comes back, he will be the Center and Bass, Green, or a FA/trade (J Smith?) will be pf.

Celtic organization multi-tasking in Miami. Over last 2 days, it worked out draft prospects Harrison Barnes and Terrence Ross.

+1...and if the report about taking a look see at Harrison Barnes is true, Danny may have a desire to move way up into the top 6..that would be exciting
