I call that last flop in game 2 an entitlement flop. wade is not showing that he got fouled, he's saying he deserves something for the effort. take a look at the last flop when he laid there on the floor. he wasn't close to getting hit, but he missed and fell, and just laid there waiting for a ref to notice it was dwayne wade on the floor. he does it all the time. The worst part is when Wade flops and doesn't get the call he stays there and stares down the refs instead of running back on defense.

If you think about it, Wade's combines all unlikeable facets of NBA basketball into the premier NBA D bag:

1) Flopping/falling
2) Complaining/crying
3) Dirty fouling

The only player who rivals him in combining all those features is CP3, but Wade even beats him out.

2) Complaining/crying

He even does it for his teammates watch him on the final last second shot by Chalmers, don't have video but he's begging Crawford for the foul repeatedly tapping his elbow he is the biggest crybaby in the league and it's not even close
"7ft PG. Rondo leaves and GUESS WHAT? We got a BIGGER point guard!"-Tommy on Olynyk

The sad part is that the league backs him and CP3 up because they play on spectacular teams.. I do hope Wade gets a taste of his own medicine some time soon..

When you lose, the easy part is to see who gives up. Giving up is very simple. You basically take your stuff and walk away. To continue to work and to continue to compete is one of the most difficult things, especially when you really don't have anything - KG

I thought Kobe's comments on flopping were spot on, but I was really intrigued by his 'fear' of taking charges... I never really thought about the career detriment taking charges could be... thoughts?

As soon as you join the Heat you get the sense of entitlement. Look at Battier. He complains on every play, genuinely seems shocked when they call a foul on him or out of bounds on him.

Can't stand wade and Chalmers and their flopping on jumpshots. I've never seen someone fall to the ground so much when taking a jumpshot.

Totally agree. Love this post.

Wade's antics are infuriating to watch and teammates like Chalmers are following. Kick your legs out while shooting, hit the floor and whine for a call.

It's great the refs swallowed their whistles towards the end, but they should have because those flops were complete non-fouls. However, the slight contact plays still go in Miami's favor.

One sequence where George had a breakaway and got swatted/fouled (non-call) and LeBron went the other way (immediate whistle as contact happened) sums things up for me.

Looks like their is a sort of pushback from the refs against Miami... They are sick of the flopping. One of those calls Wade didn't get really surprised me. I was positive he'd get it, but he didn't. Kudos.

Agreed...not a fan of LeBron or Dwyane but I found it comical when they "joined forces" how everyone just loved dwyane wade but hated LeBron..
Wade won a championship in honestly the worst refereed series in the history of professional sports, no wonder hes so entitled

Seriously, what is worse than a guy who whines and stomps his feet and waves his arms around like a toddler every time a call doesn't guy his way and also viciously tries to hurt players on opposing teams?

I actually used to like Dwayne Wade and thought of him as the "good guy" on that Miami team.  The pressure of playing for that "Super Team" that is supposed to waltz to titles every year is getting to him, and he's showing his true colors.

I hate Wade more than Lebron. Wade is so full of himself, and is a dirty player, and is at least as much of a flopper as Lebron. At least Lebron's body language has shown some humility.

Lebron is the best in the NBA. If he magically became a Celtic I would have to be excited. If Wade (or Kobe) were to become a Celtic, I would have a hard time adjusting to that.  >:(

On offense, Wade will fall a lot because of how he shoots. He takes a lot of shots where he fully extends himself or where he is already on his way down. This leads to him being very off-balanced when he lands.

On the other hand, he often leads with his knee which is an offensive foul.

I respect Kobe's avoidance of drawing charges. He manages to play good defense nonetheless. Falling to the ground also leaves you team very vulnerable in a way just d-ing up doesn't. On the other hand, he is a perimeter defender. If he was an interior defender, especially one that isn't a great shotblocker, he would not be able to avoid taking charges.

I hate Wade. Period.  Lebron is painted as a bad guy but I don't think really is.  Kobe arrogance early on was from immaturity, he's matured since.  Wade is a d*k.

All the superstars are cry-babies when they don't get the call. I recall you're supposed to get a technical when you react in a very inappropriate manner to the officials.. regular players get the whistle, Kobe can pick up the ball, flail his arms and approach the official and get no call.. It's so irritating when Wade does the same thing and all I can do is yell, "Hey, isn't that a technical?!" but no... the Miami Flop has crafted their way to becoming nothing more than floppers to get whistles because we all know their offense alone can't score too many points.
Take me where the Boston Celtics fans roam free without judgment from my enemies.

jermaine o'neal's career probably ended because of a charge
